Chapter 5: Awkward silence

The car start moving...it is an awkward silence in the car...cause no one start talking , even in the fronts seat where Lily and Luke sit. Lily kept driving while Luke took a peek on Lily again and again.

"So this is your son? how old is he?" ask Andrew in order to break the silence

"He is one and a half year..." reply Lily still focusing on driving

"Is this your only child?" ask Andrew again

"Yes he is" reply Lily

"He is quite cute, I want to pinch his cheeks!" said Andrew looking at Asher who is sleeping

"Thank you but please don't pinch him , he might wake up and it will be difficult for me to drive too" reply Lily

"Oh okay...that's it's better, I better pinch him when he wake up" said Andrew

"Ummm...yes that's it's better option" said Lily

"So you two are friends or?" ask Lily while driving

"Oh yes...we are friends but also colleagues , he is my employer and I am his employee " reply Andrew

"Oh...so you are not from around here right?" ask Lily

"Yes we are from Country B, our hometown is in City B . We came here for business purposes " reply Andrew

"Oh okay" said Lily

Then an awkward silence again for few minutes

"We came here to have a meeting with KIM company " said Andrew in order to break the silence

"Oh...so when is the meeting?" ask Lily

"Day after tomorrow ...you know all these 2 years we try to collaborate with KIM company but they never accept us...nor does we get a chance to attend a meeting even if it's an international project" said Andrew

"What is your company?" ask Lily

"Is not my company, it's this guy company , Johnson enterprise have you heard of it?" said Andrew

"Johnson... who wouldn't have heard of this wellknown company of Country B" reply Lily

"So why do you choose KIM company...you came all the way from country B just to collaborate with KIM company...I guess there are well known company in your country and also in Country A , so why KIM company from all the company? " ask Lily

"Well though most of the company in Country A and B are capable of collaborating with us but KIM company is the most outstanding Company ever. The country government trust this company so much that most of international project is all done by this company. It's a well known company across the globe. And even the staffs and clients of this company praise the treatment and work of this company " said Andrew

Lily kept on listening to what Andrew said

"I heard that especially in these past 2 years as soon as the daughter took charge of this company...the company became the no.1 listed most trusted company in the world" said Andrew

"And I also heard she took over the company at the age of 19 , 7 years early than the age of this guy who took over his family company" said Andrew mocking Luke for being the old guy who took charge of the company

"Excuse me I took over my family company at the age of 23 okay so it's mean just 4 years before me " said Andrew in anger

"Yeah yeah...you are now 26th...no no you already 27th years old...so obviously you are old..." said Andrew

"Really I am old , what about you..you are going to be 26th yearsold this tuesday , aren't you also old" said Luke teasing Andrew

Lily was just listening at their friendly quarreling

"So what !...atleast I am going to be 26th...not like you!" said Andrew teasing Luke
