Episode 4 What am I

Fin opens the door and looks down with a frown at the door mat that boldly said "No shoes in my house"

He complies as to not get on his mother's bad side. He Takes off his shoes and go Inside, to his displeasure he sees his parents sitting on the couch snuggling.

They were both middle aged though his father had more grey hairs than the lady and had more wrinkles but they did nothing to take away from his handsome masculine face.

His mother looks like a delicate flower thought it was the opposite of her personality. Her hair was tall and curly as she was mixed. His father had his hair gelled back and he was white.

They both have on matching sweaters and sits as closely as possible to each other.

He tries to sneak by them but was caught and the first thing his mother ask is why he looks like he had been raped by a wild goat.

"Mom aaaa Some guys attacked me again, but don't worry I beat them up" he replied in an arrogant tone.

"Son sit down there is something your mother and I need to talk to you about". Said Fin's dad with his face showing mixture of concern and seriousness.

"Wait is this because I got in a fight, Dad you said if I got in any fight and win I wouldn't be punished." said the young man avoiding eye contact with his mother who was glaring at him with her icy eyes.

Ms. Balor turnes and look to her husband and frowns . He shuffles his shoulders in response.

"Its not that son it's about how you were born" Fin awkwardly starts walking away

"Actually I learnt about that in Biology class so I think I'm gonna go to my room" .

"Boy sit your *** down!" yelled Mrs. Balor. "Fine mom I'm sitting see I'm sitting"

Fin sits and Mr. Balor carries on to say the following

"Fin when you were born you were completely silent the nurses slapped your butt cheeks like she did all the other babies but you wouldn't cry, so the nurses checked your hearth beat and there was nothing".

"So how am I here dad, what am I a zombie" Fin interrupted. "Fin be quiet and let your father finish"

His father continues" We were devastated, one of the nurses said she had an idea that may save your life even though there was no hearth beat.

We didn't even think about it we agreed though we didn't know what she would do or what it may cost.

She carried you into a back room and placed you in a bath of water. We noticed all the other nurses distancing them selves and they told us to leave the room.

As I was walking out the room I looked back and saw her hold out her hands above you and started to say a few words I thought she was praying, before I could make out any of what she was saying I was already out the room."

"After about fifteen minutes we started to worry I couldn't wait any longer so I got up and walk to the door to spite the nurses telling me to wait I pushed in the door and what I saw was unbelievable.

The nurse was holding you In her arms and you were crying I felt so relieved and when she brought you out your mother's face instantly changed she looked terrified and I was confused. I've never seen your mom scared in my life.

I thought she would be over joyed. When I turned around and looked at you , you were in another nurses arm but that's not what shook me you opened your eyes and it was terrifying."

" What was it" Fin interrupts again this time looking worried borderline panicking.

"Your eyes were glowing red I've never seen something like that in my entire life" said Fin's mother continuing where her husband left off.

"Glowing red," he said trying to contain a small chuckle " what am eye a Christmas tree I though you were going to say I had a vagina or something, you guys most be joking right"

When Fin looks at his parents face and how serious they were he became quite.

Mr. Balor continues "Fin we're not joking around what we saw that day shook me to the core we asked where the nurse went that carried you into the room but the other nurses seemed to not have a clue of who we were taking about.

It's almost like they were under some kind of trans or spell.

In the end we didn't really care what she had done we were just glad that our baby boy was alive. your eyes went back to normal within minutes so we assumed it was just a temporary thing we almost forgot about it.

You were just like any other kid until, one day when you were seven you got into a fight with two guys over some girl that was like five years older than you and beat them almost to death.

Thankfully I saw you through the window and rushed out to stop you

And there it was your eyes were glowing again, and not only that your wounds from the fight seemed to have been slowly healing right before my eyes. It was unlike anything I've ever seen in my life
