Realizing that the gang was not in sight karen was relieved and let loose of her hand while putting a safe distance between her and the man. Looking at those cold eyes it was clear that he was angry or something.

"Don't look at me like that with your sorry state if someone were to see us they'll think that I'm bullying you well then it seems like your back up has come take care now child." karen said and tried to pat him on the head but he moved his head clearly showing his disapproval.

'who the heck are you calling a child? a child acting like a grandpa are you playing with me?'sky thought and gave karen a mocking grin.

"jeez, don't be like that, child show some respect for your elder."

'elder? you? are you making fun of me? I'm clearly older that you! once I found who you are I'm gonna make your life miserable and you'll come begging for forgiveness.'

"now now child don't give me that look it triggers me to hit you and I don't wanna bully the injured." karen said a vain popping on the side of her head but she kept her smile and stood up.

"bye! I hope we never see each other again." karen said and walked away 'troublesome child.' she thought and a smile flashed on her face.

Walking back karen made a call and soon arrived her secretary. She bought the car and thanked her for selling her car to her. The secretary just nodded her head to her boss's every word, after all who would want to get on the bad side of your superior when they look like he was rolled in blood but was still smiling so handsomely not the least bit bothered by the strong stench of blood.

Driving to her hotel karen parked the car in the parking area beside the hotel. Walking inside quickly nobody noticed her passing by and in the minds of the people around, they thought that their eyes were just playing with them and ignored their doubt.

Closing the door behind her, she let out a sigh of relief then took her laptop out while waiting for the screen to light up she went to the bathroom and took a bath.

karen walked out of the bathroom wearing pajamas with a towel on her head. looking at the laptop she picked her phone and made a call.

"hi! it's me." karen said with with a smile.

"Boss are you serious?! hi? is that it? you didn't answer any of my calls for the past three months for God's sake! how can you do this to me." the man on the phone said in his pained voice. karen couldn't help but laugh.

"little gray that's why I called you alright? I'm sorry I just accidentally deleted your number forgive this handsome boss of yours and don't worry too much or you'll shorten your life." karen said in a matter-of-fact tone.

'..........' "no! I won't! unless you tell me where you are this monk subordinate of yours will be kind enough to forgive you." gray said a with a demanding tone while crying internally. 'boss how can you delete my number!'

"I assure you that i don't need you plus since when did you became a monk?" karen said and took a seat in front of her laptop. She squeezed her phone between her shoulder and ear and placed her hands on top of the laptop. touching the keyboard karen started to type away as her hands danced gracefully. the screen showed a string of numbers flashing in a speed that the ***** eye can see. a minute later she has hacked at the L country's database without triggering the alarm and is now freely looking at the country's secrets as the boss of the number one Intel company hacking is her Forte.

"and since when did you became handsome?" gray asked back.

"hmm..... since I was born?"karen replied.

"........... " 'seriously boss?'

"Alright. now that I confirmed that this is your number I'm going to hang up now dear."

"alright boss and for the hundred time don't call me dear!" gray said and hanged up.

"haha just accept it dear you all are my babies." karen said to herself.

The next morning karen finished her work for the next month and is now enjoying herself at the ice cream shop beside the road.

"meeting? when did I agree to that?"karen asked a bit confused since she didn't remember agreeing to any meeting that was proposed to her. She immediately denied meetings that will reveal her identity. After a short pause the secretary informed that it was the ex boss who agreed a month before.
