*The Important Matter

"Congratulations Sect Leader Nie to your successful revenge"

"Ah yes who would have thought that you were the one behind all of it"

"That Jin Guangyao deserved it!"

A few clan leaders congratulated the young Sect Leader, Nie Huaisang. Who was quite uncomfortable hearing such words, when only a few days ago they were the ones mocking him for having such a bird brain. He knew they had ulterior motives...

Nie Huaisang just smiled at them though the smile was a bit cramped though unnoticeable thanks to Jin Guangyao... He shifted his gaze to the side and found Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng staring at him. After making eye contact with him for a few seconds, they ignored him and left the hall.

"Please fellow Clan Leaders excuse me for a moment, please inform my trusted advisor, Su Shang, if you need something... I need to do something important, forgive me for being a bad host I'll make it up to you next time" he excused himself and gave them a salute.

He then went towards the way where Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng went to give them an explanation and to apologize... But did he do something wrong?

He followed them carefully until they reached the forest...

"We all know Jin Guangyao is an important companion of yours but he should know the consequences of doing such things" Jiang Cheng told Lan Xichen

Now he knew why he was feeling guilty... Well not really.

Nie Huaisang quickly hid behind the tree so as to not bother them and attempted to leave when he heard...

"I know... But how can he just let Mo Xuanyu sacrifice his own body for the sake of his revenge? Isn't that a bit too excessive?" Lan Xichen reasoned

"I don't know but if I were in his shoes maybe I'll do it" Jiang Cheng sighed

"Hmm maybe..." Lan Xichen agreed

"Atleast now he's enjoying the fame given to him" Jiang Cheng mumbled but Nie Huaisang can still hear it... Which made him look fastly at their direction.

"Is he? I thought he was uncomfortable" Lan Xichen pointed out and the two started walking towards his direction

The one behind the tree decided to make his presence known by stepping on a branch. The two moved their heads to his direction and prepared to unsheathe their swords.

"Aiyo Second Brother! Jiang-xiong! I've been looking for you for a long time" he greeted them happily and waved his hand

Lan Xichen smiled gently to the young Sect Leader and thought 'Everyone has reasons... This kid lost his one and only family he must've been heart broken how can he still pretend.'

Jiang Cheng on the other hand unsheathed his sword and ignored Nie Huaisang giving him the cold shoulder... Huaisang ignored it, he shrugged his shoulders and continued to walk towards them.

"Why did you leave all of a sudden after making eye contact with me a while ago?" he pouted which made the oldest (Lan Xichen) laugh and patted his head.

"We didn't find any means to stay there besides you were too busy" the eldest explained

"You could've got me out of that situation second brother who knows what kind of plots are they harboring this time" he muttered.

Jiang Cheng looked at the small guy beside him and shook his head...

"They indeed are thinking of using you... Don't be easily persuaded" Jiang Cheng warned the small guy.

The smallest turned to him and walked closer to him.

"Of course I won't! Have you forgotten 'who was the one that fooled everyone?' Heh even a dog can sense that something is wrong" he mimicked the Clan Leaders' sugar coated words.

"Aiyo! Jiang Cheng, Brother in law, and Huaisang! What kind of secrets are you saying to each other that you have to leave in such a hurry" Wei Wuxian came with her husband, Lan Zhan

The two were greeted gently by Lan Xichen, playfully by Nie Huaisang, and sassily by Jiang Cheng...

"Would it kill you to be polite just for once?" Wei Wuxian said as she put her arms around Jiang Cheng's neck

"Your husband might kill me if he sees this! Act properly Yiling Matriarch or I'll break your legs! I still cherish my life!" Jiang Cheng said as he struggled to remove his adopted sister's arm.

Wei Wuxian laughed and removed her arm on Jiang Cheng's neck, she went to her husband and held his hand while smiling goofily at him... The group chatted some more until Nie Huaisang sneakily went away to look for his self-made koi pond...

"Hmm... Why don't you find a wife Wanyin?" Wei Ying suddenly blurted

"What the HELL????" Jiang Cheng exclaimed in disbelief

Lan Xichen also looked at Jiang Cheng and thought for some time... Until a great idea was formed in his mind.

"What do you think of Nie Huaisang?" Lan Xichen inquisitively asked.

Meanwhile in the Koi Pond

"Ah-choo! Aiyo! Who's cursing me this time?" Nie Huaisang said as he fed the fish

Back to Lan Xichen

"..."

"Oh right where is Huaisang?" Wei Ying suddenly asked

"Wasn't he..." Jiang Cheng looked to his side.

His eyes went wide when he didn't find Huaisang...

"It can't be he's lost in his own forest, right?" Wei Ying as-a-matter-of-factly said.

Jiang Cheng wasted no time and quickly looked for Huaisang... Ignoring the calls of his annoyingly chatty adopted older sister who also followed him along with her husband and brother in law.

"Humph! What's so good about being a Sect Leader... Even want me to become a Chief Cultivator. No way!" Nie Huaisang was heard from a distance while he kept feeding the poor bloated koi

"Huaisang! Why didn't you tell us there's a koi pond over here?!" Wei Ying exclaimed happily joining Nie Huaisang.

Jiang Cheng sighed in relief and turned to the side only to find out that he was being stared at by the Twin Jades of Lan... One was stoic but the curiosity in his eyes were noticeable while the other one was gentle, curious, and somehow he looked like he knew what was going on.

"What are you looking at?" Jiang Cheng asked nervously

"Hmm... This is the first time I've seen Sect Leader Jiang being worried about someone other than Jin Ling..." Lan Xichen teased while Lan Wangji nodded in agreement.

"Zewu-Jun you..." Jiang Cheng pointed his finger at Lan Xichen but then later on withdrew his hand and stomped his feet against the ground and pouted angrily.

"Wei Ying I've always wanted to ask you... Why did you pretend to be a boy before? I even helped sneak some porn books... How unlady like" Huaisang criticized his friend.

"Don't be like that... When Uncle Jiang adopted me I was already dressing up as a boy they didn't even know that I was a girl... There are alot of benefits actually when pretending to be a boy... One of them is how I found Lan Zhan and also sneaking  porn books... " We Ying bumped his shoulder to Nie Huaisang as he explained as they both laughed.

It's sounds reasonable Nie Huaisang thought

"Clan Leader! Clan Leader! Report!" one Sect Nie Disciple shouted.

Nie Huaisang got up from the ground dusting off some dirt off of his clothes and ran towards the running disciple...

"What happened speak clearly!" he demanded.

"Someone came and spread rumors about you plotting against your own brother... And... And..." the disciple rambled.

"And what?!" he clenched his fists

"And that you killed Jin Guangyao to eliminate the evidence" the disciple continued

"Who was it? Lead the way" he ordered

Jiang Cheng held his wrists and asked him what's wrong so he told them the details... In the end all of them went with Nie Huaisang to solve some Important Matters...
