Three

You walk towards your home holding your stuff after being fired by your boss sighing. You had a one hell of a day waking up late, knocking into a stranger, getting your hand burnt, clothes ruined and at last fired by your boss.

Once you reached your apartment you tossed the heavy box somewhere and fell on your bed. You thought about the day that just passed. You thought if only that stranger didn't knock you everything would've been fine.

Lost in your own thoughts you got up when you heard the doorbell ring. Opening the door you saw your landlord standing there and you got tensed as you realised that you didn't give the rent of your apartment since 2 months and you knew from inside that he came to ask for it.

"Good Evening miss y/n, I paid a visit to ask for rent of the last two months." He said while looking down on his notepad with a pen in his hand scribbling something over the notepad with it.

"Ahjussi" you said while letting out a fake tear. "Oh dear what happened to you?" He said when hearing you sob with concerned expression. "Ahjussi, I lost my job and I don't have money to pay for food too. Please let me stay here for a while until I get a job. I promise to give you the rent next time." You said as you wipped your crocodile tears.

The landlord being a soft man held your hands to comfort you with concerned eyes and said, "Dear stay here for as long as you want and when you get a job do tell me and if you need any other help don't hesitate to tell me."

You let out a sigh of relief as you knew that your plan succeeded smoothly. "Thank you ahjussi, I'll keep you updated." You said as you faked a cry. After seeing him off you put your hands behind your head and though that the landlord was such a soft person and you should give him the rent next time but for that you ought to have a job.

You sighed as you started to place the things which your brought back from your office in the apartment. While placing your stuff you came acroos the card of the stranger you met in the morning.

As you held the card the moments with him came back to you. You blushed a bit remembering them as you placed the card on your dresser and went for a shower.

After the shower you took the newspaper placed on your dresser and opened up the page with job listing in it. You decided to take up some part-time circling up a few in the newspaper.

As you placed the newspaper back you saw the card again with the phone number on it. Picking it up empty mindedly something came to your mind and you eyes became big.

You picked up your phone and dialled the number.
