20 questions

Nick's POV

I sat on the bed facing her and started,"My name is Nicolas Robert in short they call me Nick and I'm 6'2 in height and my weight is around 74kg to 78kg all the time."

She smiled at me and started,"Astrid Park in short Astrid and my friends call me Ashè. My height, I think it's around 5'5 and as for my weight I'm around 50kg or something."

I nodded my head and suggested,"How about we play 20 questions?"

"Sounds nice. We can know more about each other.",she smiled widely.

"You start",I motioned my hand towards her.

"OK, let me start, Coffee over tea or tea over coffee?"

"Mm, maybe coffee over tea?",I said it more like a question than a answer.

She nods her head and continues,"Dark colors for clothing or light colors?"

A difficult choice well let me go with the one I mostly prefer,"Light colors.", I smiled.

"Love having pets?",She raised her left eyebrow while questioning.

Honestly to answer I'm not a person who loves having pet. But what will she think if I say I don't like pets and she gets disappointed as she loves them and plans to have them in future.

"Answer me.",She snaps me back to reality.

"Ohh, well I will answer you honestly so don't get disappointed.",I paused to she her reaction and she smiles assuring me and I continue,"No. I don't love having pets."

"Such a great relief.",she smiles.

Why that would be a relief for her. Wait does she also hate taking care of pets. I think by now I would put a puzzled look on my face.

Chuckling she answers me,"Yep, I don't like having pets."

Did she just read my mind now. Anyways .

"Next question, where you ready for this commitment as marriage?", hidden hope lingered in her eyes.

"Yes. I was more than ready for this.", I answered her honestly. Even though it was an arranged marriage I willingly married her. It was not like I had a girlfriend but has to break up with her as my parents forced me to. In my entire life I once never dated someone as I already knew our family's customs and culture I just played along with it. My only motto was to 'Love after marriage' 'Wife is your loved one'

"Text messages or phone calls for communication?"

"Both are fine by me.",It's a matter of fact. It is just according to my mood.

"Next, Mountains, Plains, Beaches, Monument?"

"Mountains and beaches?",I couldn't pick one.

"Only one", she laughs,"Fine I choose Mountains?",Same questioning tone again.

"Morning person or night person?"

"A night person I think."

"Take outs or cooking home?"

"According to my mood?",she raised her eyebrow. That kinda looks cute though.

"Just pick one.", an ordering tone, I guess.

"oh,take outs most of the time."

"Introvert or extrovert?"

"An extrovert.",I guess

"Family or friends?"

"Family.", I am saying the truth. OK, I choose family over friends when I have to make a decision. But that doesn't mean I leave them out I hang out with them most of the time.

"I think I don't have any questions to ask you more.", she smiles and I nod saying,"Then this is not 20 questions it is 10 questions."

She broke out laughing.
