5. The Hidden Eyes

(Friday, 5th of January 2090 CE, Newcastle Royal Academy. 08.30 am, Newcastle, England)

{Henry’s POV}

     Do you know how it feels to be watched by someone without you knowing it? Or how you feel when you were being followed by someone but you don’t see whoever it is following you? Or to put it simply: Having a creepy stalker onto your back? Yes, that’s what me and Sarah have been feeling for the entire day ever since today’s first period ended. We don’t know about nor see who’s watching us this entire day, but we’re sure that this…Hidden Eyes is watching us at school and that this Hidden Eyes are not only went for just me or Sarah, but both me and Sarah. Especially when we’re apart from our friends.

But even when we’re with our friends, I could still feel that this Hidden Eyes is still on us, cautiously silent and unseen by anyone’s eyes, including our eyes. We need to take a precaution to this. We already told our friends about it, but they’re really ignorant about it, even not believing to our situation. They (Well, Owen and Evelyn are, because Oliver is just so ignorant) said we’re being paranoid because they thought we’re having a bad day or something like that. Well, so much for that then

“Well, This is quite rather peculiar” I said sarcastically to Sarah who’s sitting next to me on one of the bench in the Academy’s Ceremonial and Exercise Yard. We were in the Academy’s Yard because we wanted to take a break from studies and taking our stress off while also trying to draw the stalker to show himself/herself in the open area. Unfortunately that’s not the case because we didn’t feel their presence anywhere near us. I guess this stalker is a lot more smarter than we expected, knowing the perfect time and place for their opportunity to stalk us

Sarah nodded and sighed as she leaned back on the bench’s backrest lazily with her eyes closed “Yeah, no kidding. It have just been hours since the first period and we’re already on the edge just because of this creepy stalker since the first period” She pointed out

I nodded in agreement “And our friends aren’t any help either nor the Academy’s Security. I doubted that they had time for this especially with their underpaid job” I remarked as I looked down on the ground and sighed in stress before looking back up and turned to Sarah ”We need to figure out how to catch this stalker in act” I finally stated firmly. Sarah sighed in response

“As much as I love to do the same thing, Dear… I think it’s really impossible to do such a thing” She said, still in her lazy sitting position with her eyes closed and head against the backrest

“No, I think it’s possible. We just need to execute it properly, M’lady” I said, confidently with determination. That made Sarah to open her eyes as she looked at me and I swear that I could see her left ear that was facing me perked up at the same when her eyes opened, intrigued by what I just said as she sit up in the proper sitting position from her lazy sitting position on her seat, turning all her attentions to me

”Okay, Dear. What do you have in your mind, Mon Cher?” She asked me, curious about what I have in mind for this kind of situation

I grinned smugly before smirking confidently and said “Trust me: All in due times, Milady and it’s going to be a perfect plan” Sarah was surprised by this but then she sighed before giving me a smile, a smile that indicates that she trusts on whatever it is I’m planning for. Whether it’s good or bad, but it’ll do in catching this stalker in act for all of his/her doings over the course of hours in this Academy. And yeah I know: This is pretty ridiculous, especially for me and Sarah that I should even bet my friends to it so that they could see through it that we’re not delusional as they thought we were

(Two Hours Later, Last Period of the day: History)

*Riiiiiing* The Bell that signed the end of both the last period and school overall for today

“Alright, Lads!” Said our History Teacher, a Scottish, Mr.Desmond Holland as he was closing his history book. Yes, that’s right I along with Sarah and Owen were in the same class for History on Friday. Today’s History lesson is about the continent of Afrika when it was colonized by our Country, Black Eagle Empire, Liberté Empire then Republic, San Angelo Empire, Kingdom of Fleminé (Belgium’s Counterpart), and Kingdom of Sardegnia (Italy’s Counterpart) “With tha’ We close our session abou’ thy history of the Colonial Afrika for today. See ye all in thy next week” He dismissed the student as we all responded by “Thank You, Mr.Holland. See you next week, Sir!’ as he excised himself and left the classroom with us packing our stuffs back to in our bag. During History Class I could feel the stalker is with which means the stalker is also a Student or actually disguising as a student. Hmm, what a bold yet smart move you got there Stalker. I may have underestimated you again but I won’t let my guards nor will Sarah

     After we packed all of our stuffs, we went outside to the locker area to check our locker with all of our stuffs in it for we left some of the stuffs that includes School stuffs like books and stationery into our designated locker while the non-school stuffs were retrieved and packed into our bag. Owen said that he has no need to do these things since his textbook is just one book, an all in one textbook, complete with all of the subjects that we have here in our Academy so he went ahead to see Evelyn who’s waiting in front of the Lab where she had Chemistry with Professor Oscar Lambert for her last period while Oliver is probably already waiting at the front gate, like always after school

     Not long after checking up our lockers, we quickly went outside the Academy towards its Front Gate. When we got outside the Academy, we found Owen, Oliver, and Evelyn already waiting for us by the gate. They seems to be focused in their Phones, that they didn’t know we were there until we were with centimeters away from them, they raised their heads and looked up from their Phones to us who were still walking up towards our group of friends

“Ah there ye are!” Oliver exclaimed as soon as we’re approaching them “We thought tha’ ye guys have decided to make out a’ the Lockers Area” He smirked. This got my eyes widened in shock and my body to stop reacting like a deer caught in the headlights, shocked and embarrassed by Oliver sly remark and lewd teasing. I looked back over to Sarah who’s standing right behind me with a red noticeable blush on her cheeks. Well I guess she’s more embarrassed than shocked by what Oliver said since Girls don’t like talking about Lewd Stuffs… Those are Boys Things. Seriously! This guy most of his casual jokes have lewd stuff in them. Can’t he just make a Joke that doesn’t involve… things like this?

Owen then suddenly piped in “Yeah, you guys must’ve been making out, especially when both of you are this paranoid because of this ‘Stalker’” He teased, making ‘quote unquote’ gesture with his hands before crossing his arms together and giving us a suggestive wink and smirked smugly. I twitched my eyes in disbelief at Owen’s words. As a Noble, you sure are quite a bold Chap, Owen

Evelyn smiled innocently before nodding her head two times with her eyes closed before saying “You two also tends to get busy every time whenever there’s an opportunity to get busy, huh huh?” She said as she changed her innocent smile into sly that made us feel uneasy and Sarah to blush bright red before covering her face in embarrassment. Grrr, Guys… seriously Have they forgotten about Sarah being one of those type of girls who gets flustered easily, even just by all this teasing. Seriously? What a bunch of muppets of friends we have here

I feel my self sweating a lot “Guys, can you please stop it?” I pleaded to them

Evelyn raised her eyebrows “Oh why’s that?” She asked with a sly smile on her face

I sighed in annoyance although I know that they know about Sarah’s flustering tendencies but I just went with it “Because you know how Sarah is and we need your guys help with our Stalker issue even if you guys didn’t believe about it” I reasoned, placing a hand on Sarah’s shoulder to ease her blushing

They laughed in unison at first which was more than enough to make Sarah blush even more and me to be more uncomfortable with their teasing. See? this is what I meant from Monday about them being lousy and infuriating everytime an opportunity or chance was available, just like this one. But then they stopped laughing with each of them giving us different of smile

“Alright Alright, Lovebirds. We’re done anyway” Owen first said for them, placing his hands on his hips. I sighed in relief and suddenly I could feel something sweet and warm touching my cheek

As it turns out, I was focusing on them the entire time they teased us that I forgot about the lovely lady close next to me that I had a hand on her shoulder, having her lips pressed into my cheek. Sarah is giving me a quick cheek peck… in front of them… boldly. I was surprised by this… boldness that Sarah suddenly has. I never thought that she would do such a thing unless I initiated it. Well, eventhough we’re dating and have been sharing things about ourselves towards each other, there are still a few thing in Sarah that I don’t understand. Like this one. But I smiled anyway, feeling both surprised and proud and I gotta admit: a little bit frisky with her sudden boldness

“W-wow! Milady. Since when did you became this bold?” I asked her in surprise as she pulled away from my cheek before giving me a big and warm smile. I grinned awkwardly in response

“Well, I can be really bold if I want to” She replied, still smiling with that cute small as she clasped both of her hands together and tilted her head to her right which is my left

I sweat dropped before rubbing my back nervously “…Oooookay?” I said, unsure about this sudden change of my girlfriend’s character. But then again that’s what makes it more interesting and exciting in out Love Live together with out friends and other things like that. This change of her character and my shocked and nervous respond made our friends to erupt in hysterical laughter at our silliness. Me and Sarah blinked before looking at each other and smiled as we joined our friends laughing at ourselves. I know that sounds so silly and weird, but we can be silly and weird anytime we wanted. That’s my Logic, Make sense eh? And when our laughter died down, For some reason we forgot about something, but I don’t know what it is. I looked over to my Girlfriend who’s now talking with Evelyn. She looked so happy that I bet whatever we were thinking were all but forgotten. Alright… This is really weird… But I wonder: What we were thinking about before?

{Gerthrud’s POV}

As I watched the group left the School Area, I let out a sigh and smile in relief before coming out from my hiding spot in the bushes. I then pulled out my Spy Tablet to continue supervision on them using the Invisible Drone that was connected to my Tablet’s system

Fyuhhh, Glad that this ‘Memory Eraser’ device worked well… If not they’ll onto me for the rest of my mission here in The Imperial Monarchy just to get these two into The Universal Candidate Programme and I might be caught by them especially with those friends of theirs. They’re really insistent on their suspicion of a Stalker who is none other than me, So I had to do it without them knowing and when they’re distracted. I’ll let them know about me and their Candidate Status when the day comes which is in about hours later (Tomorrow). I Hope I can pull it off for tomorrow. For now, I just need to get back to my Apartment in Newcastle. Until then, see you tomorrow, Henry Davis and Sarah Rosetta
