WHAT'S REAL? - 3

...Chapter 3...

I ran towards my best friends as soon as I spot them. I am not sure if they have changed or not coz we were together almost all the time during the vacation. Do Hyung ... Park Do Hyung and Cha Yoo Na. We were the ultimate trio since the start of high school. We clicked pretty fast and were mostly like crime partners. (Just small habits like drawing on others face when they are sleeping and on school walls and mainly irritating others...overall we were very good students’ hehe...)

“Yaa how can you have a brother like that?” - Yoo Na asked.

“What...What’s the matter with my brother?” - I questioned.

“Isn’t he way too... too handsome?” – She smiled showing her full teeth.

“Aish...”- Me and Do Hyung said the same time poking her head from opposite sides with our fingers.

“Yaa it hurts...Can’t I even appreciate the handsome ones?”- Yoo Na complaint herself and followed us towards our classroom.

It’s been a long vacation and finally we became the biggest one in the whole school. Everything’s the same... same seat, same ugly faces and the same old boring class... I went straight to my seat and started to observe around to look if there’s any change in others. Ha! Now that I see... our class monitor seems to be a bit more handsome. Did he lose weight?? Aish he saw me looking at him, ughh... why do he have to turn now of all time and top of all he suddenly stood up and walked towards me smiling sweetly. What else am I supposed to do I also smiled back at him.

“Hi Hae Ra... it’s been long right?”- He asked

“Ha yes... it’s been long and um... you look a little bit changed, have you lost some weight monitor?”- I asked smiling.

“Ha ha... you noticed, Yeah... I did some workouts here and there and don’t I look more handsome?”- He inquired.

What the hell? How should I respond to it? And why are you asking me of all people?

“Ya..! Do you think a monkey won’t be a monkey if it loses its weight?”- Do Hyung tease him saving me from that awkward situation.

“Ya! Do Hyung... you think you are any better?”- Our monitor looked a bit serious this time.

Oh god I don’t want my first experience as a senior to be destroyed by these too blockheads. As if the god has answered my prayers, our teacher came silencing and seating everyone in their own seats. Ha! What an obedient and good kids (me included). Our teacher started to explain about our syllabus, portions to study and colleges and scopes and so on... Half of the class were asleep when the bell rang. It’s always the same whether we play around or eat snacks or sleep.

“Hae Ra run fast, you are going to miss the bus”-Yoo Na said running to the stop with Do Hyung.

We were just in time as the bus was taking off when we reached. I went inside and said bye bye to them after taking an empty seat. Their home was the opposite way so they always sent me to bus first before going to home and Do Hyung and Yoo Na are neighbours as their home is only a wall apart.
