WHAT'S REAL? - 5

...Chapter 5...

I don’t know why but there’s something different unlike all the other days. It’s just like pitch black... the only light there is coming from my truck’s headlight and not even a single bug can be seen anywhere in the streets.

Just to be sure I checked the maps a dozen times but it shows I am going the right way. Usually I am not too scared of the dark but today I keep getting this eerie feeling that says something’s wrong in my head. I looked up the time, it’s going to be 2 soon so I speed up a little bit.

What! What the hell is that? I instantly pressed the brake as hard I could making the tires screech loudly as it came to a stop. I get off of the truck to see what the hell the thing on the ground is. I walked to it keeping a safe distance to take a closer look.

It looks like a body! Omg! What am gonna do? What if it’s dead? As I was scared not knowing what to do a low sound came from it. It’s alive! I ran to it faster. Weird... there weren’t any blood but I could see a black liquid on ground.

I touched and tried to smell it. Odd... it smells faintly of roses and it’s sticky. What the hell is this liquid? Is it some sort of scented paint? Whatever... I neared the body and tried turning it.

Oh! It’s a man and Wow look at that face! I know I shouldn’t be doing this at this time but I can’t seem to take my eyes off his face.

He is too handsome to be true although half of his face is covered with that strange paint or something. He looks perfect for someone who had an accident.

Wait! I don’t think he is hit by something as there is no injury to be seen or is it internal bleeding or something ugh... all sort of accident scenes from those dramas are fighting over my head while I am trying to figure out how perfect he would be without that black... and where the heck is this black liquid coming out from! Most on the ground is drying up but the one on his body is still warm and damp and there is more on his stomach.

I lifted up his shirt a bit trying out to find out where it is coming from.

What the!! I immediately stood and walked back from it.

What the hell was that? Seriously? What is happening now? That thing is coming out from his stomach and there is a huge wound? Ugh... I felt nauseous thinking about it. What is he? A Vampire? It can’t be they aren’t real. Then... what... who has black blood or is it because he is dead?

No! Even if I heard that sound wrong he definitely died not too long. Then what...

Ah! I better call the police before it’s too late. I turned back to fetch my phone but suddenly I felt a sharp pain on my neck like it was pierced by something.

Oh no! I can’t move... what’s happening... I am... losing...conci..........ous...
