...Chapter 4...

“This gonna be the best”- I thought.

Today is my best buddy’s birthday. Oh my god!! I am so thrilled about it. Me and Do Hyung were planning to throw a party for her, the only problem was her parents... they won’t let us ruin their full house for just a party. But due to our constant nagging and Yoo Na pressuring them with her extra cuteness... at last they gave us their permission.

Do Hyung gave me the most important task...which was to buy the birthday cake and taking that as an excuse I took my dad’s small truck (pickup truck car) with me after a long class about slow and careful driving. Ugh... it won’t be like this if my brother gave me his branded car. (He doesn’t trust my driving skills and seriously, it’s been 1 year since I got the licence).

“What would you like miss?”- The handsome part-timer asked me.

“Um... a chocolate cake 1.5 kg with extra frosting and choco chips above and... a little bit discount”- I said smiling sheepishly.

“It’ll take a minute and the discount... let me think about it”- he said smiling.

Oh... it’s a killer smile. I didn’t have time to reply as there were other customers coming.

Later he called me back for my order and I paid him the full amount. (How can I ask again for discounts if he shows me his killer smile) And I drove to Yoo Na’s and got ready for the party.

I seriously thought the cake was too much for 15 but it was perfect and everything extra will directly go to Yoo Na’s mouth so no issue of wasting food.

The party was amazing as we have expected it to be and I had to stay there until every guest left as to check Yoo Na’s every gift. (Although she isn’t gonna give us anything). Do Hyung was also there as Yoo Na opened each and every gift, eagerly waiting if there is anything interesting that he could steal. But to his bad luck there were only girly things like earrings, bracelets, necklaces, teddies and so on.

1:00 am

My phone was ringing nonstop when I entered Yoo Na’s room for some more sweets. I took the mobile to see there were 13 missed calls from my mom, brother and dad. That's when I looked at the time and honestly I wasn’t aware I was this much late. I immediately dialled back and mom took the phone within a second.

“Where the hell was you Hae Ra? Do you have any idea how worried we were?”- My mom shouted.

“I am sorry Maa... I lost track of time and my phone was in my bag”- I told her sincerely.

“What time is it now? Come home now or we are not gonna let you out of the house for the rest of your life”- She threatened me.

“Maa I am heading back now... I am getting in the car, see you bye...”- I told hurriedly and cut the line.

Oof... that was hectic. I took my bag and things and went out to Yoo Na who was starting the clean up with Do Hyung. I told her I am heading back and they both cursed me (for not cleaning up the mess with them) till I got into the truck and took off.
