" lingling, are you trying to scare me to death?"

"hey, I thought we agreed that you do wait at the the door for me, and we would come in in together, I don't believe that you came in without me". ling ling said as she pulled up a chair and sat next to hou Mian.

" I was going to wait for you, but I saw an old classmate by the door. he said that everyone was upstairs,so i came up".hou mian smiled gently.

the one that greeted her was zhu lingling her best friend since High School, who was now a flight attendant for an international airline. she was pretty girl and was hou mian's only close friend. like hou mian she was also amiable and exceptionally kindhearted.

"ling ling ,i thought that you have been busy recently."

"how can I not be busy? l am super busy.wr were supposed to fly to to shang city today, but I didn't want to miss our reunion so I I ask a colleague to cover my shift.oh ,hey,where is your doctor ? why didn't you bring him ? ling ling said.

we are getting there. out of the three Apartment that we went to see, there was one that we both liked. we are going to talk to his parents about it before making final decision."

"wow,that's fast.whete is it located ? buying a new house is a big deal,so u do think it through first,"zhu ling ling said.

"it's on the 3rd ring Road so it take a a little over 20 minutes to get to work the bus. it's pretty convenient. ", hou mian replied as she smiled faintly.

"nice , I heard that a apartment on 3rd ring road are worth an average of 8000 yuan per square metre.your boyfriend would have some savings then !" zhu ling ling exclaimed in admiration.

"it's not going to be a one time payment. we are just placing a down payment for now, and the two of us will lowly pay off the rest of the mortgage . we are still young and have plenty of time".

"so................after buying an apartment, r u guys going to get married?".

zhu ling ling asked as she reached out to hold hou mian's hand

"yes,it seem so ,if nothing unexpected happens." hou mian nodded.

"yeah."

are you sure that u r willing to get married,just like this?" zhu ling ling suddenly asked to hou mian,with a serious expression on her face.

"well, at the point , does it matter if ivam willing or not ?".

"mian, u know why I am asking. have u really forgotten about him ? zhu ling ling lower her voice down to a Whisper but hou mian still heard every words clearly.A trace of of sadness appeared in her eyes , with the hint of almost undetectable heartache.
