Reassuring herself,Hou mian struggled To suppress her unease.

when she finally pushed through the door, there were already 20 or

so people inside . Hearing the door open, they all looked over at the entrance and so Hou mian smiling timidly.

"hi, everyone. it's been awhile". she greeted

"Hey , if it isn't the beautiful miss Hou, what a surprise that you actually came to a reunion!" hell must be freezing over", one of a female class-mate said in a mocking tone.

Hou mian smile awkwardly and didn't reply. just then, the class president, Han xu, stood up and walked over with the warm greeting, Hou mian."it's been awhile, everyone missed you ! how're u doing these days ?"

"Oh,I am doing well,class

president".

Hou mian looked around the room , when she didn't see the home-room teacher, she couldn't stop herself from asking that there s Ms.Yao??

"Ah Ms.Yao just called and said that she is stuck in the she will be there soon. come on take a seed forced

Hou mian nodded. finding a quiet corner, she sat down and listening to the loud Banter of the other classmates around her.

It had been many years since day graduated from the high school, every-one had changed. someone now famous entrepreneurs, some were working for the the government, this some others had gone to study abroad. all in all, compared to these people, the girl who do once been touted as a genius with IQ of 130 could not appear any more ordinary right now.

after graduating from the high school she rejected the colleges in the capital city and surprised everyone when she applied to nursing school at a local medical academy. after graduation, she went directly into provincal hospital to became a nursing intern by signing a 3 years contact.

now, she had stable relationship with an intern in the Opthalmology depart-ment of the hospital in which she e use to work. although his family back-ground was fairly average, he had decent future ahead of him, Hou mian felt that she codesk nothing more from this life. she didn't wish of wealth and fortune, but, only stability e and security.

Then, some-one suddenly patted her back, and startled her, she turned around!!
