Introduction

Reena is in her twenties and is a girl with high ambitions and a proud girl .She is her mom's and dad's favourite. She is an "A" grade student and is very well in her studies. Reena is studying engineering in a reputed college and she's also admired by her professors. Being good in her studies and scoring good , Still she manages to get time to watch Netflix series and other dramas.

But deep down she's lonely. She's such a good student that all her classmates are jealous of her, they envy her.

Despite showing that she doesn't care about anyone's bad behaviour towards her , deep down she cares and this makes her sad every night .

Reena's parents try to make her happy but she still misses the fun , that the other students are having. The other students always hangout with each other , they always have stories about the adventures they did with their friends . She's happy that her parents are so good but she also knows that they are also worried about her.

She had heard her mom sharing her worries with her dad about her being lonely and no friends to rely upon. Her mom was once saying to her father that how could she'll able to survive without any partner if her attitude is like this and she's unable to make friends .

There isn't a single friend that she had seen with Reena since Reena was 6 years old.

That time also Reena had only one friend, his name was Ayan. Ayan was 2 years older than Reena and he he was 8 when she was six. They always used to play together and Ayan had to protect her from all the other kids as she never lost any game and other thought that she cheats and that's why she always wins. But being at the age of only eight , Ayan knew well that she was intelligent and was good at remembering things and that's why win.

Reena always had her childhood best friend Ayan in her mind and thought why don't other people also treat her that way.

And since he left the city when she was only six, she missed him alot... but the memories of her being with him are always with her .

And despite being such a bright kid she believes that one day she'll meet Ayan , her only friend who never saw her as nerd and a bookworm and that would make her happy and somehow she will have someone by her side to rely upon and a friend to share all the things that she's hesitant to share with her parents too.

The hope of meeting Ayan is a reason why she stayed positive and able to resist all the mean things done and said by her neighbours and her classmates.

It was mid Dec and she was in her college Library as usual, digging into the book titled "Linear Control Systems" . The End semester were near and so there were a bit more students than usual.

Inspite of the more than usual people in the library , Reena noticed something, the same face ogling at her as yesterday and the day before yesterday and the day before the before yesterday's. And this was getting at her nerves, That very face She had seen seeing her's since last week .

Earlier it used to be only four to five times per hour and as she used to be in the library for atleast 3 hours a day. It was total of 12 times a day he catched her glimpse from behind the 3rd row of tables , a safe place to see her and not get noticed .

Still Reema had known his activities from the 2nd day only .. but she thought that he also might be thinking of reading the same book as the topper did and that's why was looking at her books.

But she was wrong...

And she was terribly wrong as she observed him now gawking at her only and not even bothering to once see his book layed open on the desk .
