Employing her

"Hello! Jason, What now?" as soon as Lucas reached home he got a call from Jason

"Sir, you forgot to take the information of Miss Lillith "

Sh*t! how can I forget such a important thing.

"Oh! Yes, E-mail it to me, now!" I hurriedly said

"Alright, Sir"

...with that Lucas hung up and soon had an email on my laptop,

he rushed to check it, eager to know more, more and more about her.

hahahahaha.....is she really supposed to keep a fake boyfriend?

though I know keeping a fake boyfriend is in trend now, but I don't think she's that kind of girl who'll pretend to have a boyfriend for popularity

"Aden? isn't he in London since 2 yrs? Anyways, they are not even real couple"

just the thought, that she's single makes me happy

Damn! she's so beautiful I thought I would have to deal with the world to get her

I can't believe that I don't have to deal with any kind of rivals

That really makes me inexplicably happy

After a loads of thought...

Lucas keeps his laptop aside and dozes off thinking

"Tomorrow is gonna be fun"

*THE NEXT DAY*

Lucas walk inside the company,

As he usually do but don't know why,

since 3 to 4 days all the workers are staring him like he is some kind of

ALIEN

The first time they started staring at him 2 days ago

Lucas thought there was something wrong with his face, so he rushed inside the president office to check on his face,

But there was absolutely nothing

And then it started to repeat everyday but Lucas care less to know about it.

Instead Lucas thought

It's just the employee thing they always have some or the other thing to gossip about

And he have no time to interfere in their stuffs,

Cause one thing he knew very well was that

...Gossips are Neverending...

Lucas open the door of the office and sit relaxed and someone knocks the door

and he knew it is Jason without even giving it another thought

Because he always follows him everywhere

and,

sitting in the office Lucas can't help but think

how wonderful my life would be without Jason, he wondered

We both don't like each other,

it's like some cold war between us

I don't even know,

why we don't like each other?

But, if I give it another thought

I think we both don't like each other because of work...

we both give each other work

Because whatever work I give him he have to do it and whatever he hands me I've to deal with it.

But I must say he's very efficient in his work

It's been 6 years he's been working with me and to be honest. No one in this world, not even my mum and dad knows me better than him.

I don't know whether I should be proud about it.

And another reason for him not liking me is probably, because I'm a trouble maker

But that's not my fault

After all, I was born with silver spoon.

Shaking all his thoughts away, Lucas thought it is wise to get started with his plan

Jason like all the other day gave papers to Lucas which needs to be signed and started speaking about the allotment of time and the work and finally when he was done with all his stuffs he said

"If there's nothing. Then I'll leave."

As Jason was about to leave Lucas said

"uh...No, wait."

And before he could leave or say something else, I told him,

"Do anything make Lillith sign a contract with our company"

while, acting as if he was reviewing the paper.

He observed me keenly,

that's when, I knew, I messed it up.

I never read documents,

I face palmed in my mind.

Damn it!

"Lillith? Lillith Shanan?" he asked

Lucas looked up at him and said

"Yes, Lillith Shanan! and I'll make the contact on my own"

As soon as these words were out

Jason couldn't help started stare Lucas.

And Lucas was so done with this staring thing

"What?" Lucas asked in annoyance

"No-nothing"

Jason said and continued

"So are we supposed to take over Archly's company?" he question.

"I don't think there's a need to buy the company, just negotiate and if they don't want to go along, then buy it." Lucas replied

"ok, I'll do it" Jason said

"there's nothing else, you can get back to your work." Lucas said impatiently wishing he disappeared

Lucas desperately wanted him to leave and a sigh of relief escaped his lips as soon as he left.

After a while,

even, Lucas got to work.

*Break time, In cafeteria*

*Employees chatting*

Staff 1 : "Did you guys see Boss today?"

Staff 2 : "I already told you, he has always been handsome."

Staff 3 : "But he has always looked cold, without that smile. Sometimes he's so scary. Like a few days ago, remember, in conference room, I was damn scared."

Staff 2 : "Oh! that's because he was having a bad day, everyone does. I don't care whatsoever you say. But if I had to choose between Prince Charming and our CEO, I would definitely choose CEO"

Staff 1 : "Hey! there's no comparison, CEO is damn cool."

Meanwhile Jason, who was sitting near the staffs table, thinking.

He's going crazy,

He's been smiling so much and for no reason

I'm so sure, he's thinking about something.

And that something is not going to be any good.

He was even reading the file, which he never does also he is going to make the contract on his own

I am sure he is going to fire me

God! save me from this devil.

*Lillith's house*

Daisy didn't even bother texting me after that incident.

Lillith tried calling her but she was not replying.

so Lillith ended up sending her a message which stated

"Hey! seems you are still angry,

I'm sorry ok! Waiting for your call.

Call me soon"

Daisy has always been very calm and it is hard to get her mad, but when she is mad it is rather more hard to handle her

Lillith push her phone away.

And make her way towards kitchen to cook something.

It has always been Daisy who asks her to cook food for her and eat with her or else Lillith wouldn't bother cooking and eating.

But today Lillith was exceptionally hungry.

When Lillith was just supposed to turn on the gas, her phone rang

She rush towards the phone thinking it's Daisy

She stumbled upon a few things and finally reached the phone just to see,

call from the least expected people

"ARCHLY'S COMPANY"

She couldn't be more shocked.

Because they never call her, they always spoke to Jenny (Lillith's assistant) even when she was on vacation, they would call her and relay the message to Lillith.

But today they suddenly are looking for Lillith directly was a shock for Lillith

Lillith picked up the phone,

And...a woman from the other side spoke politely.

Maybe she was the staff of the the company.

"Hello, is this Lillith?" the staff asked

"Yes, I'm Lillith." Lillith replied.

"The CEO has asked me to inform you, that from today onwards you are not supposed to report in our company. Instead, you are going to report to the LIGHT SINGERS COMPANY."

Lillith was so shocked for a while...

why would they suddenly do that?

Although everyone know that LIGHT SINGERS COMPANY is well equipped and one of the well know company.

And it was Lillith's dream to work there, but still why would they do that?

Lillith asked the staff.

"Is there any specific reason for making me change the company?"

"I don't know anything about that."the staff replied."I was just asked to inform you that from today onwards you will be working for Light Singers Company." she added.

"ok, thank you, for informing. I'll report there, tomorrow." Lillith said

and she soon hung up.

unable to stop her mind from running she starts to think

it's really weird,

maybe it's the dealing between the companys.

I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow

Anyways, we will see,

What is to come will come.

I look at my phone once again

Still no reply from Daisy.

Sigh!

She quickly cook instant noodles
