The first day

It's the first day of my highschool life. I and Merin got ready and had breakfast.

Grandpa insisted to accompany us but I asked him to take rest and assured him that I can manage since June showed me the way when we went to the park. It's hardly a ten minute walk.I don't want him to have trouble with his knees.

We reached the school gate. The school compound is really big. No wonder why this is one of the best and reputed school, i thought. I went staright to the primary school building and dropped Merin in her class and talked to her class teacher. Then I peeped to the window to check on her and saw that she was very excited and started to make new friends..... On the other hand I don't know why I'm feeling so nervous.

Then I hurried to the highschool building. I noticed that a small crowd was gathered in the ground near the entrance but I ignored it and moved forward.

Suddenly someone blocked my way. "Where do you think you're going girl.??? Can't you see all of them standing here.... Stand here...." he said in a harsh tone.

I got confused for a moment and then realised the situation. The crowd was that of the freshmen waiting to be ragged by the seniors. Soon i joined the crowd. The seniors were sitting on a desk and the freshmen students gathered obediently around them. They called random students and gave them tasks and enjoyed the show.

" Hey... you two.... come forward.... " A senior called two boys out of the crowd. Both of them looks good, fair and tall. One among them have black and the other have brown hair. They obediently came forward.

"Umm..What task should we give you guys.... What about kissing someone from the juniors...." a senior girl with short hair suggested with a smirk.

"Oww..." the crowd made a sound in union, except me. I just hate such cheesy things😒

"No... they are just freshmen. Let's not go that far.... Okay, let's do something else..."another senior girl said.

Soon they started to select a few girls randomly and asked them to stand around the boys in a circle.

"Hey.... you..." a senior boy said pointing in my dierection. Me and the other girls standing next to me got confused.

"You.... the girl with chocolate eyes " he said and everyone turned around looking at me...
