I walked towards them. Merin saw me and yelled "Airin..... Come fast..."

and that girl turned around with a cute smile on her face.

Yes... i recognized her, it was June... my childhood bestie. She smiled and waved at me. I was really excited.We shook hands with wide smiles and then hugged.

"June... How are you doing? It's been a long time" i said while hugging her.

"l'm fine... What about you Airin?" she asked in her cute voice.

"I'm fine too..." i exclaimed. The old days flashed through my mind for a moment. I wish i never grew up, childhood is the best part of everyone's life.... you don't have to be concerned of anything at that time, i thought.

"Do you know my sister? " Merin asked in surprise to June.

" Yes... i do, we were childhood friends.Your sister promised me that she'll come back the next year 6 years ago... I'm seeing her now after that". June complained.

"I'm sorry June... Mom and Dad were busy with work and we never got a chance to visit here all these years."I said

"It's okay.... finally you are here now.."she said trying to comfort me "Are you free now?"

"Yes... I don't have any plans" i confirmed.

" We have a lot to catch up... Let's go out for a walk to the park" June suggested. " Yeah sure " i agreed immediately.

"Yayy... we are going to the park" Merin shouted out of excitement.

I rolled my eyes and smiled.

I left with grandpa's permission with June, Merin and Delta. We chattered all the way to the park. After reaching the park, we sat on the green grass under the shade of a big tree. There was a great vibe in the park and i enjoyed it. Merin and Delta was playing around and June and me continued with our conversation.

In between the conversation June asked "What about your relationship status? "

" Uh... well... umm... " i stumbled

" She is hopeless in love, June... She'll stay single forever " Merin mocked me making faces and both of them broke into laughter.

" Not so funny... " i protested. "Well... what about you June? "

" Uh... actually... I had a crush on someone...but i didn't had the courage to confess... so... " she started to stumble then.

"Great... you were mocking me all this time and you're also single" i said sarcastically making fun of her

"Hee.. hee.. Let's change the topic...😁..... We are going to be in the same class, right? June asked.

"I hope so..."i replied.

We talked for the whole evening and returned back by 7.00 pm. Both of us are excited to be in the same class. She is very cute and chubby, just like how she used to be 6 years ago. She is very caring and charming. Everyone feels comfortable around her very easily.She lives next to ours'. So we'll go together for the classes.

But unfortunately, she can't accompany me on the first day of school. She have to volunteer the programme at school since she is a former student. So she will have to go early and will be busy. Nevermind, she is there in my class andwe all 's a relief.
