Chapter 3: At the conference

Getting out of the car, Selena thanked the driver and turned her head. Standing forward the entrance with big words “Guangzhou hospital”, she took a deep breath, gathered all the courage.

“You can do it, Selena !” She encouraged herself.

She smiled and stepped in confidently. When she was about to open the conference room’s door, another hand grabbed the knob faster than hers. She looked up to meet his gaze. Looking into his phoenix eyes, her heart raced like crazy.

“It’s him.” She instantly realized he is the man this morning when his handsome face hit in her eyes.

His hand pointed to the door indicating "come in". Selena’s eyes moved to his hand and then looked back to his eyes.

“Ah… Thank you, sir.” She replied awkwardly.

Inside the 3000 square feet room is more than 2000 chairs. This conference gathers together many excellent doctors from around the world. Each city will select 1 best doctor to represent in this conference and Selena is one of them.

Selena found a seat of 3rd row, she sat down and took out the document to prepare for the presentation. The man came inside and sat beside her. She was surprised and wondered why he was sitting beside her.

She titled her head to gaze at him. She found that he was also staring at her. She turned her head as fast as possible and looked at the documents in her hand, her face was all red. Selena tried to focus on the document but her heart was beating hard. Her face now full with shyness. He had seen all of her expressions up until now, he chuckled.

When the room was filled by everyone, the parson of the hospital stepped on the stage and stated.

“Good afternoon, thank you for attending the conference today. Let me introduced, the three representatives of WHO (World Health Organization). The investor and also CEO of Guangzhou hospital, Mr. Wang,…

The spotlight moved from the three representatives to Feng Wang.

“ So he is the investor of this hospital.” Selena thought.

“And now to start the conference, a presentation from Ms. Truong from xxx city. Thank you.”

After the parson walked down the podium and Selena took the place. She began to motive her presentation.

1:30 PM (Guangzhou) -> 12:30 PM (Da Nang, Vietnam)

Yvonne sat on the bed with a mini desk, on top the desk was a laptop. She tried to finish all the office work. She

lied down the bed, a very bored expression showed on her face.

“Maybe I’ll watch some Tik Tok videos a bit 😋“. Yvonne thought as she took her phone on the nightstand.

After surfing through a few videos, she stopped by a video.

“ He is so cute, what’s his name?

What’s his name ?”

It’s a guy with blonde hair, his eyes shined as there were stars. When he smiled,

dimples were clearly visible at the corner of his mouth  She slided to the left to see his profile.

“Jun Wang ? He did not disclose any other information.”

She felt dissapointed, threw her phone on the bed.

“I wonder if Selena has finished the conference.”
