Seoulen was winter-lands covered in snow, but they had the strongest

Military presence in the world they had excelled in the medical

fields as well. Melly was working as an Inn Keeper and was assisting

John in his Medical research. Melly working at him made it easy for

her to take care of all the kids dropped at their door. In the dead

of night after taking in Nanami John and Melly are sitting and

discussing what they should do. “John she is so small and she

Devin looked at

Nanami with tears “Do you guys read this already?” John and Melly

nodded “Yes son” Devin sniffled lightly “Mom do you know any

other details?” Melly shook her head “Son I do not but Serena

isn't dead she is within our hearts” he held Nanami in his arms

tightly “Little Nanami things have changed for you I can only

you.” The whole family surrounded Nanami “We will all love you”

the warmth of love and a fireplace burning as the night became long

for them and they discussed things among themselves.

Many winters passed

and Nanami began to grow up into a beautiful young lady. She studied

medicine with her father and worked in the inn with her mother during

the weekends. Her brother John taught her how to have fun and make

jokes. Her brother Aron helped her learn Magic, Jason taught her how

to hide and sneak around unseen, and lastly Devin every summer

Vacation taught her how to fight he had her learn how to shoot a bow

and how to use a sword. Nanami began to question why her family was

so different than all the others she knew she was adopted like her

other siblings but she was the only one who had markings on her face.

Not one person in her town had anything like the marking on her face

and a gem to decorate their face “Mother, Why am I the only one

with marking on my face?” Melly looked to Nanami “Oh sweetheart

you are not old enough for that, but let me tell you a secret.” she

motioned her hands to Nanami so she could hold her she was ten at

this time “Nanami it doesn’t matter who you are we all love you

in this home and your birth mother loved you will all her hearts and

one day you might have many people who love you for those markings”

she nodded “I love you too mother.”

Nanami began to

grow faster and was very intelligent by the age of sixteen she had

many job offers, the adventures guild, the military, and the Medical

college wanted her. She began to want to leave and grow up like her

brothers. “Mother, I am the last of my sibling to live here can I

join the military like my brothers?” Melly and John were not

prepared for this day even though they knew it was coming “Nanami you

can not do just anything like your brothers you are different.”Nanami

looked down at her feet “Can you tell me why Mother you know

something I know I am different Is it because of my facial

markings?” just then Delvin came into the house, He walked right up

to Nanami and placed his hands on her shoulders “Nanami It isn't

safe for you to go out in the world by yourself, If you want me to

tell you about yourself then you must pass a test. We all have been

training you so you can protect yourself and not let anything bad

happen to you” she looked up at him” Brother I don't understand”

she moved her head over to his hand. “Past the test and we will all

tell you, Come on sister.” he turned and walked out the door. Melly

and John looked at each other and they talked about what they were

going to say if she passes her tests.
