Ch 5 Evolution!

Ignoring the bear, Jin Long crawled toward Xue.

But before he could, the bear arrive before him and pick him up with a single paw.

Before it could even open its mouth, Xue appears and bite his left eye.

In pain the bear drop Jin Long. Xue didn't cling on the bear's face long and retreat as soon as he hit his target.

Xue ran toward the child and flung him on his back, despite the pain he gritted his teeth and ran as fast as he could.

As he left the bear he could still hear its furious roar.

As Xue ran as fast as he could, he left a trail of red flower blooming every few steps.

Still, he doesn't slow down, instead he ran faster as he knew the little guy on his back is in a terrible condition.

Arriving at his cave, he place him on the bed and toss a fire crystal in a pit before the bed.

As soon as the red crystal came in contact with the firewoods in the pit, it lit up with a crackle.

Looking at the stone shelf, he rummage through every bottle.

'Lilly Spring pill, too gentle....Rhizia pill, too strong.....Hmm he's still a child so his body can't take intense effect, he's cured of poison not long ago so the impurities will discharge soon, he also has a high fever so we'll need a pill with cooling effect but not too cold, something that will help his burning fever and aid his discharging of poison......hmmm Here! With the porclean bottle in his mouth he brought it to the child with water.

He open the porclean bottle and fed him a round silver pill.

Jin Long also obediantly open his mouth. After he fed him the pill, he cover him with a warm blanket before heading toward the entrance.

Jin Long wanted to stop him but the pill effect kick in and drowzyness soon hit him.

Before he close his eye he saw his back, leaving the cave.

"Don't...go.."'I won't run again...I promise don't leave'

Soon he black out.

Xue leave the cave and stood in the clearing before the cave.

Hailstorm howls and thunder rumbles, Xue knows that it's time......his evolution.

Standing in the clearing he calms his mind and wait for the tribulation.

He know that if he pass this trail, his body and soul will transform and he can continue his path to cultivation but if he fails.....he will die.

Thunder flash across the clouds and storm rages as if angry.

Still, Xue chalenge it, Evolving from a normal to a demonic beast is a big thing.

Normal animal are very common with mediocre strength and are the bottom of the food chain whereby passing the tribulation his body and soul will be refined by the harsh tribulation and form a beast core, with it he can absorb the essence of the heaven and earth, if he have enough resources and cultivate deligently he can then evolve into a Spirit Beast, Divine Beast, Celestial Beast and even Beast Deity.

But before that, he have to pass his first trail even if he is heavily injured as he cannot miss this once in a lifetime chance.

With determination he lift his head and release a taunting howl to the sky, challenging the heaven's will.

The rumbles louder as if reacting to the taunting and strikes down like an angry dragon while the hailstorm got stronger whipping at Xue mercilessly with the freezing winds.

Xue looks calmly at the scene unfold, his life and death depends on this so he will never back down.

His captivating phoenix eye reflect the scene with stubbornly determination shining in them, never backing down.
