chapter 4- The man

Gia felt chills on her spine when she had a eye contact with stef. Her thoughts were interrupted when jen turned around.

"Elvin is doomed". Jen mumbled teasingly she turned back facing andy who was staring down at her. "Poor elvin, good luck to you". Jen said with a sympathetic look.

"God look at you. We are of same age but you can't even cook simple dish. But i cook for myself". Andy growled raging up. "Dear Louis must be worried".

"Oh shut up, you eat what you cook because you have no choice" jen argued back.

"I-" andy snapped but got interrupted.

"you both over there. Go out." Stef said with a low and cold voice. Pointing at andy and jen then pointing at the door.

"But" again andy was interrupted.

"I haven't finished my sentence yet!" Stef glared at andy. As if his coldness would freeze andy at the very spot. "Go out. And bring the measurement utensils, tools and flours from the pantry"

"God! I thought he is going to kick us out at the very first day" jen spoke out after coming out.

"Only if you were silent we should have been sitting in the class" andy said with an unpleasant look.

"It's not like he kicked us out, he just told us to bring the items. Why are you so annoyed? it's not like you are a decent student" jen asked while picking up the utensils.

"You see, I wanted to impress someone" andy said smirking at her. "By the way you saw how he glared at me. Ugh i really felt so cold. I even had goosebumps. See see I'm having it again" andy rolled his sleeves to show his goosebumps.

"Will you please speed up?" Jen asked being annoyed , ignoring what he said and walking towards the classroom

Jen and andy entered the classroom. They dropped the utensils and the flour bag on the table.

"Thank you, you both" stef said keeping eye contact with both of them. "This is the first class. I won't be too harsh on you. I'll introduce some basic measurement utensils, tools and flours which we will use. Concentrate her unless you want to ruin 1st day of your class".

"So basically we have- Liquid Measuring Cups, Dry Ingredients Measuring Cups, Measuring spoons,

Scale, A digital scale, Oven Thermometer, Timer" stef introduced each of the tools.

"So i will give a brief explanation about each- "

A woman started running towards the stairs which lead to terrace of the cafe. She seemed to be pregnant. Before anyone could understand what is happening evan moved out of his seat, started running out of the classroom.

As soon as evan ran out, chris came inside the class.

"So guys, stay inside your class don't come out we have a little emergency" chris said pulling the door and locking it from outside.

"Just concentrate on what I'm teaching instead of worrying about other things" stef growled gaining our attention towards him.

Louis, jen, elvin and andy were not bothered at all even though their friend ran out of the class without any context.

"What on earth is going on" gia thought to herself.

Evan ran behind the woman just to find she was standing there staring at something.

" Calm down" she said in a timid voice.

Evan moved forward to see with whom she was talking. There was a man in his early 30's. Evan got closer to the woman. He was not sure if they were related. Was he her husband?

Meanwhile the man seemed not to care what he was hearing. He was trying to communicate someone on the other building.

"Dad, dad.... Dad i want peace please help me dad" the man cried in pain.

The man on the other building who seemed like he was in mid 60's didn't budge. Maybe his ears were weak? The man didn't even glance at the body crying in pain.

Evan took a step forward. Just in case the woman gets in danger.

"Dad i have less than a day! I don't want to stay here, i have suffered a lot. Please dad i want peace. Please remember me! Please!", The man cried out loud. Screaming and falling on the ground hard.

The woman behind evan closed her ears as the scream was very unpleasant. She wanted to save the man. But the high tension was making her sick.

"Mam, you ok? Maybe you should return back. I'll handle it" evan said keeping his hand on her shoulders and assuring her.

The woman looked behind evan and screamed and moved back!

Evan turned back to see why.

The man who was on the opposite side was so near them. A few more steps and they would have been in physical contact.

The man had cuts and wound all over his body. All those still covered with blood and dust. His eyes looked innocent as if he was just born and hasn't been in a cruel world yet. He was dressed in formals. Which were now rugged and dirty.

"As expected!". Evan smirked as if he knew him.

"I just want to have peace" man pleaded.

"Have it! Don't mess with innocent ones" evan said with a deep tone of voice. As if he was threatening him.

"I'm not, she ran behind me!" Man tried defending himself.

"You think I'm a fool?" Evan said chuckling.

"What are you? You seem like a human but you are not! Is there a new species in this realm that i don't know about?" The man said acting cockily.

Black smokes started forming around the man snaking around his leg moving up to his body.  His wound which were dark hue of read started turning black. Pupils of his eyes started enlarging. Air blew faster moving all the tiny particles of dust on the air.

"What's the purpose?" Evan asked calmly.

"I don't have any!" The man answered as his voice became 3 octaves deeper.

Evan moved towards the man. Aura of his power was being displayed all over him. The man backed off as he felt the power. The black smoke which flew all over him started getting lesser. His eyes started becoming normal.

" No one held a funeral for me, i was buried, tomorrow will be 3 years and i will completely turn into something that I don't want to" the innocence in eyes of the man was back as he told his story. " Not a minute in these 3 years have my dad ever thought about me. I died when i finally got sometime to return from abroad. Out of all The airplane, the airplane in which i was boarding crashed. I regretted not being able to spend most of my time with my dad. But-"

His eyes darkened  as he was continued speaking. Again the black smoke started following it's way towards him.

"But that man never in these year thought about me. I would have be somewhere in the heaven or hell. I would have not been suffering if. If my only relative. My dad. Would remember me for a minute" he left a loud shrill.

The woman behind evan panicked. She was weak and not able to tolerate such things.

"So i got this woman to follow me. So that of i fail after trying for one last time to go back then i can enter her body" the man moved forward as he said it.

These words got evan enraged. But this man didn't turn in the evil form till now. It would not be fair if he attacked on him.

"You still have a day, i will help you" evan said trying to keep his calm form.

But the man didn't budge. He kept coming closer.

"One more step and you will regret" Evan growled.

"Can't you see I'm desperate" the man growled back.

"Don't take such a decision, it's better to go back on your own. If someone else sends you back you know the result"  evan tried one last time to remind him.
