Ling walked into the library where the children were. She looked at them and said cutely,How are you my little cherry blossoms? Hope you're okay. Mei closed her book and stared at her coldly then after a few minutes,she said,*sigh* We've been through this before,Mom. What do you want this time? Yeah,what is it? Haruto said. She hesitated then Yuri and Xuan went infront of her then Yuri said,Leave those blocks of ice alone, Mommy. Now....... tell me and Xuan what you want,right now. There's really no fooling you guys huh,Ling said. Well...... Please can you watch Mr. Childe for me please! I would like to go to the mountains because......... You would like to go herb hunting so that you can check out if new herbs are blooming this end of the season,right? Mei cut her off. Y-Yes,Ling said. I promise I'll make you coffee tiramisu when I........ Before Ling finished Mei and Haruto cut her off and said,Okay. We'll look after Mr. Childe for like we usually do. Haruto and Mei left Yuri,Lien,Fuji and Xuan in the garden while they went to look after Childe. Mr. Childe,we're here to give you your medicine. They injected all ten needles in mere seconds with such swiftness just like their mother. Now,that should do it,Haruto said while removing the needles after a few minutes. Then Childe stood up and started stretching. Thank you,Childe said coldly. Don't thank us. We merely just made the needles. It was Mom who made the medicine that was on them,Mei shrugged. But they're golden jade needles,how can mere children make them?! Childe thought. Earth to Mr. Childe! Haruto snapped his fingers. He took a bath and changed his clothes and went to the dinning hall.

Daddy! I'm so glad you're okay! I was so scared! Lien rushed and hugged him tightly. It's okay,Lien. Don't cry,Childe patted her and then put her down. Look! Xuan and Yuri made this scrumptious meal for you. Even the chefs you have didn't stand a shadow of a chance with them. I helped too,Lien pointed out. It's very nice,Childe.....smiled. They ate then Yuri told Lien that she would teach her how to cook and a little of medicinal cuisines. Where's your mother,Yuri? Childe asked. Oh,her. She went to the mountains alone. She said she would come back before sundown,Yuri answered while putting a red grape in her mouth.

She shouted hysterically. Then she launched her most powerful attack on her and Ling took it head on and Xiao thought that she was obliterated. Ling! Ming said watching in hiding. Then dark energy started radiating from Ling's frail body. Then the darkness engulfed both her and Xiao so that no one would see her true identity. Her light brown hair turned into silky raven black hair and her eyes turned golden. Her clothes changed into her normal attire. She transformed into Hestia.

B-B-Black hair! G-Golden eyes?! Only the royal family of the Netherworld,the exceptional,can have those features! But she hasn't been born yet! It said in the prophecy! Xiao stammered hysterically. That's enough out of you,mortal. You even dared to mess with my own children. It's a death sentence. She closed her eyes and interlocked her fingers and said,ChengXian. Come to your master at once. Then a big red dragon appeared and said,I'm so glad that my master is fine. You need not worry about me,you know all too well that I can't die that easily, Hestia sighed and touched him.

Now,ChengXian. You see that lady over there? You know what to do,Hestia said smiling. Yes,master. Then ChengXian went into Xiao's core and hibernated there. She returned back to Ling and said,Good job,XianXian. Xiao started coughing blood and shouted,What did you do to me! Nothing. Now,let's go back to the palace,shall we? I'll escort you. She refused then XianXian took control of her limbs and they walked upto the palace. She pushed the gates and found the emperor talking to a spy and then ran to him and started crying and said,My Lord! Please! Help me! Your daughter did something to my core! You can check it right now! He looked at him and Ling looked at him innocently and cutely. Hestia's voice commanded telepathically to Xian Xian,The enemy is looking for you,Xian Xian. Camouflage. Now! Then when he checked her core, there was nothing. I'm saying the absolute truth,my lord! I swear on my life that she is not who you think she is! She is not a human! She shouted hysterically. Emperor,I have escorted your oh so beloved consort back,now I shall take my leave,Ling said and then she left. After the main gates were closed she smiled and Hestia's voice said,ChengXian. Make her suffer! But don't kill her. Understood,master,XianXian answered. Then as Ling was walking away,she heard Consort Xiao's screams of agony and pain from a metre away. Then she went back to Childe's villa.

Wow,would you look at the time. Haruto and especially Mei are gonna blow my ears off because I came late and I promised them that I'd make them some coffee tiramisu,Ling sighed. She went to look for them and found Haruto,Mei,Yuri,Xuan,Fuji and Lien sleeping beside Childe on his bed. She smiled and let them sleep.
