is my companion and we will not separate.” the gang leader walked

closer to him, “WHAT the?” he got quiet at “the” the “

YOU SAY?” his sword close to Melvin's sword. Melvin stood quickly at

his blade making him fall back a little, “Did you hear me stutter?”

Xhella couldn't stand it anymore and threw her ax at the gang leader. “I

say where I go “ she started to sound princess-like as if she was

someone high in power. “I Will defend myself and fight when I need

to” he smirked “What The beast wants to fight, your still a

woman fight me you’ll lose” she was angered by his comment but

she was smarter “I ain't some criminal demanding women come with us

and scaring innocent people for a few gold pieces.” Melvin hit his

staff on the floor without warning and froze all the men's hands with

precision frozen bolts. The weapons hit the floor. “Who sent

you gathering Draginittian women.” The gang leader full of shame

decided he wasn't standing for this kind of humiliation. “Forget this!”

he grabs at her with the other hand and begins to hit her

face with his frozen fist, but in an instant Melvin’s hand caught

his fist holding his frozen fist in the palm of his hand. “You will

not hit her.” he had felt like they got closer in the night and

wanted to protect her, with a glance Xhella began to look at

him in a heroic way, He was actually a little on the muscular side,

he had grey and blue glistening eyes and Black Hair with a silver

streak. “Let me protect you after all you brought the hero in me

just now” Xhella's fluster struck, she wore a bright red rosy cheek

and a heated glance at his smile. He looked back to the gang leader

and she found men at his back so she defended him as he fought the

leader. The inn was a battle scene, Xhella fought hard, and with all

the flow of her learned battle stances in her bones. Melvin fought

just as heroically, he was a skilled mage and an excellent swordsman he

had the strength of a hundred men, His magic skills were legendary in

the prime of his time. “Melvin how many are you at?” she

challenged him in an exhausting battle voice “Xhella I am at three”

he kicked another in the stomach the Leader still fighting him headstrong

the clanking of swords and the wood-piercing sounds of arrows

hitting the walls and people grunting sweating and fighting in quickly

stepped fighting. “Taking a boost.” Xhella used Melvin's back

giving her a slight flight with a smackdown on the men hitting his

backside. “Oh you think you are going to catch up with me?” she

knocked down a group of four men kicking two at a time, making the

few ones remaining scatter off like the way rats scurry off.

    Xhella and Melvin clapped hands and crossed pinky “Great job Xhella you

must be a great warrior you should look to see if you have a military

background or something.” he teased her with a sweaty grin. Xhella

looked at him with hazy-struck eyes “Well It doesn't help you have

great magic and are pretty cute” she wiggled her nose and snickered

at him. They tied down the gang leader to find out why they were

collecting her kind and maybe it had to do something with her

homeland. “Tell me why you are gathering women of her kind,”

Melvin demanded the leader wouldn't look him in the face

“Apparently they are looking for Dragittian women to find a lost

princess and Dragon priestess. The country asked people to gather her

and they would take her home if she was the princess priestess “ he

shivered about what they might due to him if he continued fighting them. “I

can’t be that I don't look like a princess” Xhella complained, “I

am totally a warrior” she hit the leader on the head. Melvin looked

at Xhella and stared at her “We could always check if you are”

Xhella looked embarrassed “You think I would remember being a

princess don't you think.” they debated a bit and in the end, she

agreed to go to the border which was half a day’s travel.
