Lost Memories and A Doctors Visit

The sounds of a river stream begin to hit Xhellas horns, she was weak

and unable to move she was confused and in a new land. “Hmm where am

I?” she asked herself but sitting by the stream she looked into the

water and sees herself “Who, what am I?” her fingers touch the

water and in shock she drew her fingers back, “What is going on?”

she looked at her gear “Looks like I am some sorta warrior” she

tried to gather her lost and confused thoughts, she sat there till

her stomach grumbled. “I need something to eat “, standing to

her shaken feet she began looking for something to eat. Hearing the

sounds of footsteps she hides in a nearby bush. A man singing by the

river in a deep low voice she was captivated by his singing “One

day by the river I will find a wife and feed her a fish, We will go

on a desperate adventure to find ourselves,” she blushes hearing him

and thought to herself.” What a kind voice surely he must be a

kind man” she walks out of the bush the sounds of leaves hitting

themselves as she peeked out in a shy voice. “Sir can you tell me

where I am?” she had a red flustered face from fever and her head

sweated, “I uhmm can’t remember anything” she was shaken a bit

an instant when she touched him she had a vision of them on an

adventure going thru crazy things and searching for where she

belonged. A faint smile fell on her face “I think we are going to

be together for a while” she fell into his arms and passed out. He

was shaken by her falling into his arms and speaks to himself, “what

did I get myself into “ he was shaken and carried her to his town

where he sought out a local doctor.

It was dusk and the doctor began to look at her and examine her “ahh you must be her

husband “ he smiled at him, “What's her name?” Melvin didn’t

know how to respond. “No” his voice trembling in embarrassment.

They casually talk and they exchange glances “What’s your

beautiful Dragonis's name?” he coughed and got choked up “Uhh

she just passed out in my arms near the river “ just then Xhella

opened her eyes and things were glossy “Xhella I think?” she was

confused tired and steaming like dumplings in a pot “Doctor whats

wrong with me?” he looked at her and gave her medicine to lower her

fever, “I am trying to find out “Can you tell me what you all

remember?” Xhella held her fingers at the sides of her head, she

struggled but closed her eyes and began to speak the things she

remembered “My name is Xhella, I woke up by the River, I think I

have a family I ..just can't remember, I know I have this ax on me and

this Necklace” she held on to the necklace on her neck ,“I think

someone important gave it to me” she looked at him. “Well it

looked like you were forced to swallow something I would need to do

an analysis on your blood to see what has happened”, she agreed and

he began examining her blood “hmmm” he nods. “Hmmm well”

Melvin and Xhella looked at each other “What is it doctor ?” he

looked to them “Well it seems you were poisoned with a potion that

erases memories, unfortunately, I have never seen one of this caliber

before and I know no way to bring your memories back.” the doctor

adjusted his glasses “I can only give you something to stop the

potion from making you forget everything even your name you are lucky

you remembered that” At a loss for words Xhella placed her face in

her hands. “Just give it to me...” she was flustered not

remembering more about herself, the doctor spun in his chair and

performed alchemy and made her a potion to stop the effects “Here

take this hurry before things worsen” Melvin stood behind her,

“Doc?” he looked at him. “Is there any way we can help her find

her memories?” the doctor looked at him and sighed with a shaken

motion, “The only hope of finding something out is to take her

around the world to discover something that will help her recover her

memories” Xhella took the potion and giggled lightly after. “That’s

funny” she places her hand on her chin “I had a dream that took

me on an adventure” she blushes looking at Melvin he looked at her

with confusing eyes “Oh is that what you meant earlier?” looking

at her with a confused brow. “Who said I would go with you?” A

laugh echoed off the walls “You two argue like a married couple”

the doctor laughed. “Off you two go I am closed” the doctor

mentioned as he opened the door letting them walk out the door.

Xhella walked past and then Melvin, the doctor tapped Melvin on the

way out “I know you took a break from adventuring Melvin but you

should consider taking care of her and journeying with her it might help

you get back into your heroism.” Melvin had a look of despair on his

face as if a painful memory hit him “I understand” he walked out

the door speechless and headed to the local Inn.
