I went to get my phone when aI notice a notif from "Cling"- a dating app I happen to download recently.

I've tried plenty of dating sites for the past yrs and have had a decent conversation with a few guys. But the thing I can't seem to overcome was the thought of meeting up with any of them. You can say I have this programed response to push men away the moment they suggest the idea.

*Am I weird? probably.. I don't really understand myself sometimes -_-

A smile scape from my lips as I saw who it was. Much to my surprise, a man with the name Noah seems to have piqued my interest.. Though he's 3yrs younger than me, he actually talks maturely than me plus he is knowledgeable on allot of things.. not to mention that he's an entertaining conversationalist.

N: Hey, what's for branch lazy head?

A: You prying on my food again? go make your own you glutton. LOL

N: Hey watch it, I bet I'm a better cook than you are. You won't stop eating once you tasted my cooking.

A: You wish! anyways I know you didn't just texted me to ask for my brunch.

N: Took you long enough to notice. haha

A: Okay smarty-pants. What is it? Spill.

N: Yeah, about that my sister just arrived from the states. She's been pestering me to go on blind dates that she arranged w/o my knowledge.

A: What?! you just turned 22 tho she should give you some slack. I'm not even worried that Im single and I'm turning 25 soon!

N: You should start worrying you know..

just messing with you, Oh wait I take that back LOL

A: Ha Ha Ha funny..

N: Haha I know.. kidding aside, I won't be online as usual or my sister will start to go through my phone. Just wanna give you a heads up.

A: Oh, got it. good luck with your blind dates Hahaha

N: Don't worry bout me. You should try it sometime. Might find your true love on one of those dates. Later..

The nerve with this man trying to make fun of me.. Huh! (pointing the screen) If one of your dates turns to a disaster you better not come complaining to me by then. *sigh*

Almost a month have passed and I haven't received any messages from Noah.

He must be busy.

"Guess his dates went well huh? Good for him then"

Today is the start of my 5days leave from work. Since I was about to turn 25 soon.. I have planned a 3 days getaway at a beach resort in Sallente to celebrate my singleness alone.

Initially I planned on celebrating it with my 2 best friends but turns out Keith and Liz was going on a trip to Delamar to celebrate after they got together just a few days ago. (Yes, they end up together!)

"Those traitors! How can they stand to leave their lonely best friend on a special occasion like this?! I could have been okay being a third wheel" T_T

Sometimes I really think.. I'm destined to be single forever. Oh well just hope I wont do anything crazy out of loneliness this time.
