The Shakchunni (Bengali ghost)

A woman named Jarin used to live in a village which was situated near a city.She used to work in the city. Jarin usually came home before sunset. But one day, she was a bit late. She was walking home at night. It was around 9 o'clock. The whole road was empty. Suddenly she stumbled over a dead animal. Jarin ignored the matter and kept walking. While walking,Jarin felt a bit strange.She thought that someone was stalking her.So she turned around,but the whole road was empty no one was there. Jarin didn't think about it anymore and went home.30 minutes after she came home, someone knocked on the door.When she opened the door Jarin saw that her aunt had come to visit them. Jarin greeted her warmly and surved dinner. At dinner they noticed that Jarin's aunt was only eating chicken.After dinner they all went to sleep.

...Jarin woke up in the middle of night to a crow's call. It is said that when a crow calls somewhere in the middle of night, someone will die in that area. Jarin was thinking but then she heard some strange sounds coming from somewhere in the room. When she was searching for the source of these strange sounds. She saw the most horrible scene of her. There was a Shakchunni in their room. And it was sucking blood from her husband's throat. She was so shocked that she couldn't say anything. Her heart was broken. Tears were coming out of her eyes. She wanted to scream at that moment. But she couldn't. Because if the Shakchunni understand that Jarin is awake then the Shakchunni could kill her and her children. For the sake of her children,she acted as if she was in a deep sleep. After sucking blood the Shakchunni took Jarin's aunt's form and went back to sleep. After making sure that the Shakchunni was in a deep sleep,Jarin called her real aunt and told her everything. After hearing the story her aunt was very shocked. She told Jarin that she knows a man who can help her. So,she called the man and told him everything. He said that he and his team was coming to their house. After an hour the man and his team arrived at her house. They went to the room where the Shakchunni was sleeping. The man put some drops of perfume on the Shakchunni's hand. The Shakchunni woke up and was licking her hand as if she was going to eat her hand. The Shakchunni was asking for more perfume. The man sprinkled some type of holy water on her. Some of her body parts were burning. She was screaming in pain. The man asked her,"Why did you come here?" The Shakchunni didn't say anything. So, the man sprinkled some more holy water on her. Having no option, the Shakchunni said that,"This idiot stepped on my prey and made it unholy. So I came here to take revenge." The man said that,"What do you need to get out of here?"The Shakchunni said,"15 chickens." The man said,"Ok, you will get 15 chickens tomorrow after sunset under the banyan tree of this village. But you have to promise that you won't come here again." The Shakchunni promised them that she would never come here again and went away. After she was gone the man told Jarin that,"It's a bad spirit,so it's gonna come again.Even if it promises. That's why we have to make a plan to cut her hair."They made a plan to cut her hair. The next day, after burying Jarin's husband's dead body, the man and Jarin went to the old banyan tree which was near the forest. They tied all the chickens there and hid under the bushes. After sunset when the Shakchunni was having fun eating the chickens,the man suddenly jumped out of the bushes and poured a bucket full of holy water. The Shakchunni was cursing them and screaming in pain. The Jarin cut off the Shakchunni's hair and immediately the Shakchunni burned into ashes....
