chapter 3

Aldred's pov.

"Aldred ( a soft velvety voice whispers with small chuckles) hey wake up baby......

Aldred (someone softly hugging Aldred from upside)baby wake up (kissing Aldred's cheek softy)....."

Aldred opens his eyes a little still sleepy saying "hmm.. I won't I am still sleepy Lake mmmm(hugging lake closely and listeing to Lake's small chuckles as his morning music)

Lakendra starts talking "if you won't wake up I'll leave you alone cause I need to go to work"

Aldred opens his left eye and looks for Lakendra's phone on side table calling someone "hey who are you calling with my phone don't you have yours" Aldred grins at Lakendra and someone picks the phone and starts talking...

On phone

Someone : Hey Lakendra.

Aldred : Is this xxxx department?

Someone : yes sir this is but why are u calling from my co-worker's phone...

Aldred : ahh actually I am Lakendra's boyfriend Aldred and I wanted to tell you that Lake is not going to be at work today and tomorrow. okay(the last word was in an ordering voice)

Someone: ( when he heard Aldred's mentioning himself fear took over his body as he was talking to a most dangerous mafia man ) "y-es s-ir a-s yo-ur wi-sh "he said it in a whisper cause he was not able to talk because of fear"

Aldred : "good"

(When Aldred cut the call he looked towards Lakendra in an amused way who's mouth was in an o shape still in shock that she is not going to work for 2days)

"YAHHHHH!!!! Why did you take 2 days off from my work"Lakendra said in annoyance cause she doesn't want to be at home. Alone.

"Cause I wanted you to be home" Aldred exclaimed amusingly making Lakendra to be more angry.

"You Know I Hate To Be At Home...Alone"she said with anger getting up to leave the room. But suddenly she felt someone pull her to the bed and climbed on her pinning her hands to sides.

On seeing Aldred on her ,her face became red with anger and said " leave me Aldred, I don't want to talk to you"with that she looked away from him"

"Who said you were going to be alone in house Love" when he said that Lakendra immediately looked at him in confusion.

"What do you mean"said Lakendra all anger gone.

"I mean I am not going to work too just to spend some of my time with you....."as he said this Lakendra smiled widely and suddenly pulled him close to her and kissed him passionately when they broke the kiss Aldred stood up and took off his shirt and said climbing back on Lakendra "u shouldn't have provoked me loveee, sorry to say but now I don't think you will be able to get to work for at least 4 days"

"What! nooo... "With that she covered her face to hide her red face from shyness.

"Oh are you shy let me se-"before he could say something else Lakendra crashed her lips on him which made both of them smile in there kiss n after that 😨😨😲😲 you know what happens ........🤑😜

..."I love you Lakendra...."...

..."I love you Aldred...."...

In the afternoon when Lakendra woke up she looked at Aldred a smile kept on her face as she was mesmerised by him his eyes, nose, lips, cheeks and even his scar on his lips and neck everything was perfect for her he was perfect fo-..her thoughts were interrupted by Aldred's deep voice "hmm am I that handsome that you can't take of your eyes off me "with that he opened his eyes to look at Lakendra's reaction. her eyes widened in shock and said" you weren't sleeping" Aldred replied with a smile and said "I was but your gaze woke me up"and then he kisses her nose "and you know what I am really hungry I haven't even had my breakfast " with that he pouted at her like a child "I am hungry..."

When Lakendra looked at him pleading for food she couldn't resist and tried to walk off the bed but she couldn't stand up because of the pain and looked at Aldred who was laughing like a miniake and saying teasingly "I think I have to order something cutie" Lakendra was giving him death glares with her blushed face of shyness then he stared at her in a lustful way " as you know baby that I am a bad guy "he said in a teasing yet sexy way... "I hate u" said Lakendra annoyingly

"I love you too" said Aldred with amusing smile and then ordered the food and walked to her and lift her in bridal style to help her clean up.

Time skips to night after eating

Lakendra was still sitting on Aldred's lap while watching movie when suddenly Aldred's phone rang and he started to talk on phone while still caressing Lakendra's back as Lakendra was feeling sleepy so she put her head on Aldred's shoulder and started dozing off but suddenly she felt Aldred's body harden his voice cold and sharp as knife in anger Lakendra was worried so she stood up from his lap and sat beside him as she waited for him to end the call when the call ended he looked at Lakendra with furious eyes which melted once he saw her innocent face which was worried for him . before Lakendra could say anything he spoke "let me take u to shower and then sleep, I am heading out and will be home late so don't wait or worry cause I won't be here before midnight, okay."

Lakendra replies with a low voice "but u said u will stay with me " that she hope Aldred didn't hear but Aldred heard that and said with a sigh " Lake as u know me I am not a commoner who can do what he wants, I have a mafia gang to run , in mafia u can't be late n if you are then there can be consequences and I don't want to trouble you because of my causes"

"But, you --" she was cut by Aldred kissing her " no buts love I have my reasons"then he picks her up in bridal style to the bathroom and continues to say " and one of the most important reason is 'your safety' ".
