Chapter 5: His keepers

In the morning Domingo felt a fresh. It as if he woke and was refreshed to know that what passed was a dream a nightmare. He remembered holding a womans hand feeling the ring placed there. He almost felt a rise of consciousness of the face and at the back of his mind whose face would it be. The caressing nurse of his grandmother who was taken away by the gentle doctor who do not know how to hurt a soul, is it the maid who was mother a three who chose a money less drunkard who was always a happy go lucky who welcomed death even looked it on the face smiled to it, or was it the student with his Romeo, his Romeo who was a charming one, that can fight for love, but is arrogant of his powerlessness amongst monsters living under such spectacles of façade. 

He then greeted his servants one by one. The nurse maid elder Grace who has always been loyal to his family and would never even at the threat of death will recant any family member. The driver Mauricio who owes his life to his employer who picked him from the under the bridge feeding him allowed him to restore his family and his children a life of sustainability away from hunger and an almost life of human meats to urban carnivores. The gardener Francis a senior left on the die road by the nursing home he was left to after his family refused support of the nursing home’s expenses in Lucio’s maintenance. 

It is true a man may undergo many resurrection and rebirth not knowing his true purpose in life he may seek all purpose  even a monster’s keeper. They have all thought the same of Sheila after seeing Christopher encircling the Villa gates. Mauricio trailed Christopher and much to his expectations he did see Chrstopher and Sheila going out together. He thought to himself this girl did forget she is married. Mauricio assaulted Christopher after getting off a commute on the way to his house. Lucio was the one who took Christopher to the rice grain shelter and it was Lucio and Mauricio who delivered Chrstopher to Domingo after dealing to Sheila’s body. They allowed left Domingo to deal with a then entranced Chrstopher. They left him equipped with saw, fliers, and knives. He spoke openly to Christopher. With his words he made Chrsitopher realize what he felt when he saw this man. Why he wanted to take away Sheila and had gone against her rules. With little consciousness left after being beaten, dragged and chained for hours hanged and let to bleed, he tried to listen to an agonized man's word. 

“It does not matter if you loved her for so long, she will not feel it anymore. I have loved her too but she made me forget how. I am not bitter of a man who can love the same way. I am vengeful of how you let her play me. She is in no better circumstances than where you are now at least not for long.”  

As Christopher felt the first incision from his naval to tip his throat, the tear was enough to let out his insides but kept him leaving still, Christopher last thoughts, as he insists in his mind, is of a rewritten memory of him taking Sheila away from the Honeymoon night. Domingo slit is feet soles and slit his necks side as well. At this While Christopher clung to the hast hold he has on his throat and breath he kept envisioning a wedding of him and Sheila. And Sheila will say her vows of love. 

“You are my all and I cannot be anything more than the half you can only have in this world” as she always has whispered ho him so as he thought to his last. 

Domingo gave a visit to his orchard, and his grain stock and rice field. He gave sigh thinking” They left me, but I would never have to be away from them, they can choose to be happy forever.” 

His father then neared him. 

“Another left, but they never did can leave you, I am happy you never have to feel the way I had that night, always in your life. I will make sure you always will never feel the constant betrayal  my son.” He exclaimed while patting his shoulders.
