5) my addiction in anime

Days have passed.

The day before the event, the company decided to take the day off in preparation for tomorrows event. And i was forced to buy a dress for the said event, cause my friends keeps on bugging me. My plan was just to borrow from my sister, but they insisted. And to make them stop pestering me i just got along with them. And by the way, it's just the three of us. The preggy ones are exemptions, so that's make us three only.

Our theme is HOLLYWOOD!!

Kathy immediately smiled when she arrived at SM City.

"Why," I asked immediately.

"Promise me first that you won't be angry," she said, frowning at me.

"What is it," I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"It's about---ahmmm---" she can't talk straight because she's nervous of something. Her two eyebrows met even more at what she did.

"Jovan, He asked for your number so I gave it to him," she said softly.

I give her a deadly blank stare. That scumbag, Jovan? I even wanted to burried him because of annoyance. He pesters her all the time.

"That 'idiot! I can't have my peace because of him," I am now badtrip. Thinking about that man that so full of himself makes my day ruined.

"I'm sorry. Because I've got no choice. And i thought also that there's nothing wrong about it. He's single and so are you," she pleaded guilty.

"Sorry guys, traffic took me long," Thalia apologized. "What's with that face?"she noticed.

"Because of Jovan, I gave him Elle's number,"Kathy said.

"Jovan? The handsome Technician?" Thalia.

"Handsome his face," she answered.

"Why are you acting that way towards that person?" Thalia asked.

"Playboy" Kathy replied. Thalia looked at her seriously.

"I don't think so. I don't see him flirting someone. Not even once". Thalia said.

"I don't care. I don't trust his kinds" I replied seriously.

"So are we just going to stay here in the entrance, guys?" Kathy said after.

"Shut up. It's your fault,"

"Yes, yes. I admit it's my fault. I'll pay your dress in return," she offered her with a smile.

"Ok deal," she replied quickly.

"Wow, you agreed without even thinking."

"Sometimes you have to do it quickly. You might change your mind ha-ha-ha" she replied with a foolish smile.

"How about me?" Thalia asked for herself.

"I don't owe you anything, Thalia. So, you're not counted." Her mouth just twitched and she didn't comment anymore.

They entered their favorite boutique. Black dress is the color they chose because they it suits them well to be the black ladies. And it's Kathy's idea. A very weird idea to wear black dress in a christmas gatherings.

She chose only a simple dress, an off shoulder with laces and knee-length and she wore a beige sandal that was only 2 inches high. The two are busy choosing their own styles also. Her feet are etching to go out and proceed to the other botique the 'Comic Alley' and it's one of her favorites here at the mall. Almost all of her favorites anime are displayed in botique. Figurine, stickers, accesories and even bag. So many items that i can't choose what to buy first. Her friends reacted immediately when they entered. As usual and as always.

"Remember, anime is not my thing," complained kathy.

"But it is for me, kath. Look oh! I feel like I'm in heaven," she said with a smile like a fool. Her friends cant relate her craziness about anime. And the smells of those cosplay displayed items, seems so good for me.

"You look like a fool, people might think you are crazy," Thalia said, still looking around. The saleslady just laughed at what she did.

"You're the only one who thinks that way, and then-- waaahh," she shouted like crazy and ran to the end of the boutique.

"Hey! Aren't you embarrassed?" Kath said follow her. She caught her holding a key chain.

"Oh my god !! I waited for a long time to have finally this 'echizen's key chain !!!" I said in teary eyes.

"That's all?" Taling's face frowned.

"Don't you dare, belittle my addiction in regards with this things. They're my only hapiness. And you all knew that," she defended herself.

"But you're a grown up now. Isn't it a little weird for you to be addicted to them until now? Anime's are for kids only," she added.

"Noo..in fact, my cousin Nice is in the same page as i am. And were on the same age. It's not about your age, it's about your passion and fascinations towards anime." I defended.

"Why not buy all the items here?" Kathy jokingly added.

"No, I already have Natsu, Ryuk, Luffy and now that i have Echizen I don't need more," she said then approached the shelf of the anime figures. A smiling saleslady approached them.

"That item ma'am is 10% off," she said with a smile.

"See? It's a sign," she turned to her friends. She immediately followed the saleslady to the cashier. As she approached, his eyes caught a glimpse of a demon slayer merchandise. She was about to take it when her friend Thalia stopped her.

"That's enough. The others will be next time, okay?" She stopped her plan.

"Yeah, yeah," she agreed because they can't really finish the discussion.

After paying she smiled and face the two and raised his purchases.

"Are you happy with that?"

"Too much!" She gave Thalia a wide smile.

"Let's go, it's already dark outside" said Kating who was looking at her watch.

"Ok let's go !!" I said in full of excitement.

We're already in the escalator when she saw the Precious Books Botique again. The two immediately followed where she was looking. The two quickly pulled her to the escalator.

"Don't pull me too hard," she complained.

"Sus! We already know your plans," Kathy replied immediately.

"That's enough for you now, you can have those Novels next time," said Thalia who was still holding her hand.

"I was just looking," she excused herself.

She immediately fell on the sofa. "What is that?" She pointed to the paper bags.

"For tomorrow, I will wear it to the event," she replied tiredly.

"What are these anime items? Parts of the event?" She wondered.

"No," she replied immediately and took the items here.

"We passed by earlier while shopping for clothes. And I bought it." She replied.

"There you are with your addiction," she raised her eyebrow.

"Just once, this is the last," she said.

"You're too old for that," she said and left him in the living room. Why is everyone against anime? She talked to herself. She then missed her cousin Nice, because she was her only partner in fantasizing about anime.

'I'm excited to see her again' she said excitedly in his mind.

Carrying the items, she entered the room to go to bed early. The event will start at noon and the hotel where the event will be held is a bit far so she has to get up early. Her friends will be there early in the morning to help her do the make up. Cause she doesn't know about those things. After displaying the newly purchased items, he fell asleep immediately.
