Episode 7

Sunday...

Seven o 'clock. After eating, Paulo decided to tour his wife Kendrah to the nearest and newest building in the Q-Town, where the 8-storey condominium built-up.

"Manager? You're here and..." a shy guy greeted, one of the painter of the wall.

"Oh, yeah... this is my wife, Kendrah," He chuckled. "How was it? Did you guys have breakfast? Where's the others? We brought somethin' here."

"It's already done, Sir. It's just that we recheck the other corner. As you told, we repaint it to became firm," the other guy answered.

"I see. Very good!" Paulo carefully look every sides of the white wall. It's perfect! That's what he likes in this field. As a construction manager, he really into perfection. Even though the building is finished, he have to visit again and again until the satisfaction came. He doesn't want to hear any complain. And of course it's the owner's request too.

After he gave the food to them, he invited Kendrah to the next floor. The second. They used stairs it's because the elevator is not yet on service.

"This is kinda sweet, hanging out with you like this," when they arrived at the second floor, Kendrah speak out honestly.

"Yeah, and it's my first project after all so my wife will be the first one to see."

"Can we take a picture here?" she asked for permission.

"Sure."

Excited, Kendrah pulled out the mobile phone from her shoulder bag and starting clicked some pictures. She even secretly take a shot Paulo's every move.

Twenty minutes later, they came up stairs again until they reached the top floor. It's different because there's a wide covered court.

From up here they saw the people down there walking the streets. It's the best feeling.

"My next project might be higher than this," Paulo joke around.

"I like that!" Kendrah put her head on his husband's shoulder.

"Do you remember what is it today?" Paulo asked to test her.

"It's the date when you asked me out?"

Paulo laughed. "Oh Kendrah, that's the one."

Seven years ago...

SL University. Month of August, Friday. It was sunny day but windy. Lunch time at the open canteen for the Senior High. Paulo waiting for his order while taking a look at the picture he is holding. It was him and Kendrah from the Green Palace a month ago.

"If I see you today, I will confess."

"President?"

Paulo almost jumped out when he heard that voice. And when he turned his head, Kendrah is there, approaching. He gulped looking the way she walk. He really don't know what is the right thing to do until she said another words.

"Can I sit here?"

There, he nodded without any hesitation and tapped the available seats next to him. Yes, he knew it, that his heart and mind synchronized whenever Kendrah is near close by his side.

"Open your bag, I have something for you." He simply said in low voice. This is it.

Kendrah starting to do what he say. Of course, he's watching her until she open a red small heart shape paper.

"Yes."

He didn't expect that Kendrah will speak that way in a very short period of time. Is she really serious?

"You..."

She gets a ballpen and write something at the back of that paper. And then, she put that on the table.

If you're serious about it, then yes is my answer.

He blinked twice after reading that. "You really sure?"

She giggled. "Yes, I am," and stand up to sit to another table but of course he followed him.

"Wait, Ken!"

"Yes, Pau?"

And they both end up blushing. Calling out by nickname is the most cutest thing especially if that someone is the one you like.

"I am busy later but can we exchange number?"

"Yeah, sure... of course, President."

After that, their food arrived so the next thing they did was sit there and eat together. Quietly. No words came out but they smile frequently.

The paper they left on the table three steps away from them, moved and flipped, flying and landed to the next table with the guy and the girl teasing each other.

Can I have unlimited dates with you?

The two stopped, with a red face they look away.

And the paper flew again to the next and another.

There are different reactions in every students and most of them blushing but don't have the courage to say anything.
