Present day...

Green Palace. 5:45 pm. The couple is now eating their dessert, a big size halo-halo. They laughing and keep on talking like there's no tomorrow.

"Too bad that time, the coffee shop does not accept the seventeen year old like me."

"Yeah and I feel sorry about it. Oh but, when you try to find on your own... you made it in just one blink. You really impressed me."

"To be honest, that time I lied to the interviewer about my age..."

Paulo look at his wife with suprised. "That's clever!"

She giggled. "No, it's just in the next two days is really my birthday."

"Oh, I see."

"The Market Mall hired me. A week after that... after recieving a salary I'm so happy that I want to inform you right away. But I feel hungry that day so I went here. To my suprised, that day, this restaurant is for the couple only..."

"And that day, I got here because I wanna experienced to eat something outside the campus. I'm always studying and doing my duties too. Of course, I want to relax. And there it goes, I met you again."

"And because you gave me three red roses so they thought that you and I are lovers."

Paulo chuckled. "I just can't help it. Every time I see you, I want to know more. And then, what a lucky guy I am. I got to know your full name that day... Kendrah Ramirez."

Kendrah face turned red again. The way Paulo said her name is made her feel special and the most beautiful.

"But you never confessed verbally..." she pouted.

Paulo looked at her affectionately. "Sorry Ken, at that time, I don't have a courage but I swear to you... you are always in my mind and want to be with no other girl but you."

"Same here, Pau."

With full of love, on the table their both left hands touched. They stared at each other as if they are the only people right here. The perfect timing came, to say what is really they want to tell.

"Our project is finally done."

"I got promoted as a manager."

Silence. Got nothing to say. They are thinking the same thing. The possibilities. Because the situation for them has changed this time. And they didn't see this coming. They both happy of course but... there's the word 'but' circulating in their mind.

"If that's the case, our quality time it's not gonna happen ever," Paulo voice out.

She feel hurt hearing those. "Why do you have to say that?"

"Ken, let's get out of here." Paulo grabbed her hand and stand up. "Let's go home together."

When they got home, Paulo carried her to the bed. She didn't opposed. She can't. She need him that much. She got a hint to whatever it is. She thinks she gonna love it. Why not? This is one of what she's longing for.

Paulo kissed her all the way down. He adored Kendrah and loving her at the same time. After so many years, controlling his self... just this once, he wants to be honest and do his obligations as a man and the husband. He don't want to miss this chance.

"Oh Ken, you're so beautiful that I want to cry that you are mine."

Kendrah face is blushing. Catching her breath and say, "You really... you really. Oh, Paulo if you only knew. I'm waiting for so long."

"I'm sorry to make you wait. I will make you happy this time. I promise, I promise, Kendrah."

And they have their first night. Crying and screaming with so much ecstacy. They please and satisfy each other every seconds, every minutes. They give all their best until they got tired and fall asleep.
