Episode 5

"ITS because you said that the letter H in your name means happiness."

Kendrah chuckled. They are talking while eating. This is new and far from the usual scenario. They starting to be more open to each other. Just right.

"Oh, I remember, you said one time that the U in your name means unlimited."

Paulo nodded chewing his food and then swallowed. "And that time, you said to me that you really never thought that my surname is different from what your thinking."

They are the most talkative couple in the restaurant. They laughing and laughing every now and then. Reminiscing the past and the sweetest but crazy days of their school days.

Seven years ago...

SL University in Q-Town. Senior High Building. A windy Friday. Nine o' clock in the morning. Inside of the Student Council Room, the new member, Hiro rushed to him with full of excitement.

"President! President! There's a lady outside, a beauty little bunny."

"Did you ask her name?" Paulo said while eyes on his papers.

"No, but she said she is looking for the guy with the Yu surname... yeah, that's it!"

Mouth parted, Paulo stand up. In a hurry, running to the door, open it with heavy breathing.

"Y-You came..." When he saw Kendrah, the new transferee he met from the other day, twice.

"Hi, I'm just wanna ask if there's some place here that can offer for part-time jobs, you know... I am not the rich kid, so..."

His eyes widened. He never expect that this girl have this kind of concern. He want to tell that they are the same. That to be able to study here he applied for a full scholarship but in return he have to fullfil a lot of duties not just a higher grades.

"Sure, let me handle this. If I found one, I will inform you right away."

Kendrah smiled. "Really? Thank you so much. That's a big help." Then, checked her wrist watch. Oh, I have to go... my next subject is about to start."

"Okay, take care."

Kendrah is about to turn when he remember something. "Wait, it's Cañete. My last name is Cañete and... not Yu or anything."

This girl nodded and say, "Can I see your ID?" And she bow her head down. And the next thing he knew, Kendrah is holding his school id, taking a closer look. "Hmmm... so this is your full name. And I got it wrong the last time you did introduce yourself. I really can't believe it!"

When the wind passed by he secretly sniffed the sweet smell of Kendrah's hair and swallowed so many times hoping that the time has stopped. He really love the feeling. But no, this is not the right time.

"Your going to be late by staring on my name for so long."

This time, she looked up blushing. "T-Thanks for your time, President. Please, excuse me." Then she run as fast as she can.

"She is really..." He chuckled watching her for being like that.

"President? Oh, she left already?" Hiro said who is now standing next to him.

"Yes. Oh, by the way, Hiro... you can go back first."

They are four students assigned here. Just that, the other member is not here yet. The school has this kind of rules, when the Senior graduates, the member like Hiro or the most responsible one will be the next Student Council President. Then go back to basic, find a new member again, the genius and can do all the task. And of course, no one can say no. It's obligated especially for those scholars.

"Okay, President. Just text me if you need some help." Hiro waved a goodbye and left.

He shrugged and back to his seat.

After school, Paulo decided to search a job that suited for Kendrah's request. But doing this kind of things is really hard.

And yeah days and weeks has passed until he got one. It's a coffee shop. The lady manager asking him so many question until he honestly said some things crazy.

"Yeah, it's my concern because she is special to me."

"Oh, I see. So, you want me to arrange a schedule for this girl. But where is she? Do you have her contact number? How old is she?"

Speechless, his face turned red. But at least, he learned something. And next time, he will make sure that Kendrah is with him.

ABM-CLASS 1

Monday, lunch time. Ysabelle in ponytail run towards Kendrah who is quietly eating alone.

"Hey, girl! Someone's looking for you."

With a surprised face, she set aside her lunchbox and asking. "Who?"

"He's out there, just go and meet him." Ysabelle giggled and grabbed her arm.

"But... but... I am not yet done eating." She protested.

"No, girl. He is one the most respected people in this school, so make him wait is not good," said with the convincing tone pushing Kendrah to the door.

Surrendered, Kendrah no other choice but to walk outside. However, there's no one out there.

"Maybe, he got bored." She is talking to herself when someone from behind cover her eyes.

"Is Miss Kendrah looking for me too?"

She knew that voice so she blurted it out. "Paulo?"

"Correct! And I got a job for you."

"Really?" Excited, Kendrah turned around to face Paulo.

"Yeah, but you need to be there to have an interview."

"Oh, God! Thank you so much, President." Carried away, she hugged Paulo tight but distance herself after when she realized what she's doing.

"I'm sorry..."

"No, I'm happy to help but don't just hugged me like that..."

She felt ashamed and a little bit sad but he is right. They are inside of the school campus. Hugging someone is not good to the eyes. In this school, there's so many rules to follow.

"So, President, where is this place your talking about?"

"Let's meet after school at the nearest parking lot. I will accompany you there."

"Got it! See you later then."

They both waved hands and go separated ways. Kendrah get back to her classroom and

Paulo in his way to the school canteen.
