Episode 3

Present day.

After reminiscing, she wiped her tears and go on with the smile. She's going to eat first like Paulo texted.

Be mature, Kendrah. He sent you a text, he informed you so it means he cared for you.

The wall clock says, it's 6:45 in the evening. But of course, she's here chewing the food slowly. Yes, she have more time to wait. It's not too late. Be patient.

Ten minutes have passed. She almost jump out when she hear the click sound. And then, Paulo is in. Entering the house with heavy breathing holding his knees.

"I'm sorry for being late, Ken."

Kendrah's heart touched just by looking to his husband. That includes the way he said her nickname. She thoughtfully said, "Come here. Sit down and drink water first." She served him with one glass.

"The owner suddenly came... don't have much time to clarifying that text I sent." He sat down explaining.

"I see."

Paulo's eyes on her while drinking water. "I'm going to take a shower... a quick one. You wait for me, Ken." He put down the empty glass and stand up.

"Okay, I'll get your shirt and pajama."

And minutes later, the lemon fresh of the bathsoap Paulo using is now all over the house. Kendrah's can't help but to smile while waiting her husband come out. She holding the white clothes she choose to prepare for him. His favorite color.

"No need, Ken." Paulo hugged her from behind. He is half-*****.

"But..."

"Okay, okay. I'll listen to you." He get the clothes from her and go back to bathroom to change.

Later, they are here again at the dining table. Facing each other. Eating. No talking. The scenario never change because after that, Paulo is going to bed. And Kendrah? Washing dishes. Finishing all the task and after that she can slowly walking in to the bedroom.

But this time, she is surprised. Paulo is awake. Sitting there. Reading some papers. Her heart skip a beat when he glance at her.

"You are sexy tonight." Paulo smiled sweetly.

This is it, Kendrah. Fighting! She is screaming at the back of her mind.

Paulo put down all the paperworks on the sidetable near the lampshade. And, tapped his other side. "Sit here."

So she obediently climbed over the bed. She feel nervous. She is excited. She don't know what it is. She just want to be loved. She want to feel it from her husband--- her sweet Paulo. Her first love.

"Did I made you feel lonely these days?

"Yes... very," she said honestly while leaning in his shoulder.

"Oh, Kendrah..."

She feel that Paulo kisses her head. She giggled and look up. "How about my lips?" Her face turn red when she realize what she's asking.

"Really?" Paulo smiled. A naughty one. He bite his lip as well.

Oh, God! This is insane. What to do?

They are never been there. Yes. Paulo is too gentle. He just used magic trick whenever he is trying to confess something. He never touch her as a couple does in their six years of being boyfriend-girlfriends. No problem. She always convincing herself that she is fine with these because that time he is busy on studies.

"Yes, I really want your kiss!" She speak loudly and clear. She don't wanna lie to herself ever again. She is really not fine. She is lonely.

"You mean it?"

She nodded and that's when Paulo pull her closer, kiss her passionately. "I'm longing too. I do. I really do want to kiss you." He is moaning between kisses. That's so sweet. That's their very first kiss.

Running out of air, their sliding down to bed and get wrapped themselves with the blanket. A minute later, they fall asleep while holding hands. They are both satisfied.

The next morning came, she woke up happily. She is so energetic. She dancing and singing while dusting here and brooming there. She even prepare a breakfast with a twist. French toast and scrambled eggs with spring onions toppings.

"Good morning, my lovely wife!" Fresh from the bath Paulo greeted wearing the sweet smile. This man is happy too.

How great is the day with this kind of life! She really like it. This is the one she is wishing for. But yeah, this is just the first stage. She must cherish it. Definitely.

"Let's eat."

And today, they waved a goodbye with a kiss. What a good start!
