"I am leaving "

I said , while looking everywhere but him. He got a hold of my wrist before I could take steps.

" you can't go yet, we need to talk "

He said . I still didn't look at him. I was like 'what the hell you wanna talk now huh? Don't act caring now when you acted like a bitch before!!'

" about what ? "

I asked without showing any emotions.

" don't act dumb Neha .."

" who was that boy ? How he knows you ? What the hell is going on ?? "

He bombarded me with questions. ' 'why you wanna know now ?!! ' i thought. I was mad, hurt,angry .

" w-what are you saying? I don't know him .."

" Neha ..*sighs * I clearly heard him calling your name "

He said . I could feel his dark gaze . I removed his hand from my wrist.

" well..I think my problem is none of your business. I will solve my sh*ts myself "

I said repeating the line he said to me earlier. 'Now taste your own medicine bitch!!' I internally said.

" Neha , are you mad at me ? "

' is this even a question huh!! Isn't it obvious?? And why the hell you care now ?!! You should've think about it before '

" I am sorry for earlier,  I was just stressed "

'Wow, what a great excuse ' I thought. I glared at him and gave him a fake smile.

" it's ok , you're right,  I should try to fix my problem myself rather than bothering people, I am not a kid after all "

I said .

" Neha please, I didn't mean those words "

" can you please drop me home "

I said , i wasn't in the mood to talk ,I didn't wanted to remember what happened before awhile. I controled my tears .

" Ne- "

" Neel please, I am not in the mood to talk, I just want to go home "

I said.

Then he didn't objected anymore. He drove me home .  Although I said I was okay, he could leave but he didn't listened to me  and came to drop me at the doorstep. I pressed the bell twice and the door opened revealing my mom, who was looking angry and pissed .

" where have you been !? do you have any idea what time it is huh!!? Thank God , your dad haven't  return yet !!? Otherwise God knows what would happen!! "

Mom shouted at me and I stood there balling my hands in fists . Tears streamed down but I didn't bother to wipe them . Yup, instead of being worried she was lashing out at me . She didn't even thought why could I be late ? Was I ok ? . Same goes for my Dad . I am not lucky enough to have  caring,  open-minded  and friendly parents. They are from those parents who would always blame on their daughter . They would always give me a whole lecture on what a girl should do and what should not. Where a child should always share everything to their parents, I couldn't,  I was scared of them , I knew at the end they will blame for everything.

" why aren't you answering!! ?? Where were you !!?? "

" and where are your clothes?? "

She screamed.  I flinched as I hid behind Neel.

" Aunty she was with me , actually .... she fell on the mud while  coming home and her uniform got dirty....so I gave her my clothes"

Neel made an excuse while I was thankful cause my mind was empty. I didn't knew what excuse to fed her.

" I asking my daughter"

She glared at Neel.

"Why are you in his clothes!!?? Tell me what you did with him?? Or he did something huh?? Why are you silent?!!"

Neel tried to defend me but it was all in waste

" Aunty please, it's not what you're thinking , I would never do something with her , she is my bestfriend"

Neel said . I didn't even knew how to react. My own mom was so narrow minded, I never thought she would think so low about her daughter. I stood infront of Neel . Enough is enough, that boy just helped me and my mom was blaming us for something we didn't even do .she could say whatever she want to me but not him.Yes, I was angry with him but that didn't mean I would let her humiliate him.

" stop mom!! Do you even know what are you saying?-"

"Neha stop ,it's okay- "

I cut him.

" No Neel ...let me speak "

" you know what mom?.....I am ashamed to be called your daugh-"

A loud sound echoed as a hard slap landed on my cheek making me stumble back. Thankfully Neel was there, he caught me before I could fall.
