Chapter 3 - Forgotten

Important Info to see before reading :

Previous chapter was based on Y/n's Pov, This time some of it will be of Jungkook's pov ( acc to previous chapter events ) , and then we will start with the actual chapter.

Jungkook's Pov :

"Jungkook go and sit with Miss Y/n and Ashley stand up and sit with Miss Daphne" Mr.Fawkes said referring to some two girls. Then I accidently made an eye contact with Y/n, and I froze. It's not some random Y/n. It's my childhood friend Y/n. I know it's her, She didn't change much. It was hard trying not to show any signs of surprise. Mother was right. She was in this university. Shit. I have to act like I don't know her because of mother. Damn it.

"Ok sir" I went to the back side of the class where Y/n was sitting and she looked like she was paralyzed. I started to get nervous, she knew it was me. But I had to keep my act up. I sat beside her just as Ashley left to sit with the girl who was assigned to show me around.

The class went on and everyone was muttering and doing their own stuff while Mr.Fawkes kept on teaching. Y/n and I said nothing the whole time. I had to make her believe that I have forgotten her. So I decided to break the silence.

"Hey, so you are Y/n right?" I said while giving her my all time bunny smile.

Y/n's Pov :

Me and Jungkook didn't spoke a word to each other, and I didn't wanted to, I was trying my best to be calm, to not blow up, to not start crying, to not ask him about why he left without telling, about having the urge to beat him because he broke our freindship. Then suddenly out of nowhere he spoke.

"Hey, so you are Y/n right?" He said while flashing his oh - so - amazing bunny smile.

Then I felt a pang of sadness hit me. He doesn't remember me? What? How could he forget? I got so lost in my thoughts that I didn't hear Jungkook.

"Uh...Y/n?" He said frowning at me. "Are you alright?"

"Oh..uh yeah, I'm alright" I said trying to not make this awkward. He forgot about me. Why not start over ? I decided to go with the flow.

"Okay, I thought something happened, you looked sad, can I ask why?" He said politely.

"Ah yes, I miss my Dad, it just suddenly came to me that it's been 2 months since I've seen him, I miss him" I said lying smoothly.

"Oh , it's okay, I hope you meet your father very soon" He said while chuckling.

"Why are you chuckling? How is this funny?" I enquired while frowning.

"I'm chuckling at your cuteness, You are so cute" He said while pinching my cheeks.

I felt my cheeks go slightly red because of his touch. As we were sitting in the back, no one knew what we were doing or saying. And then suddenly, again, our eyes locked and we looked at each other. His eyes were sparkling... with sadness? Huh? Was I hallucinating or something? And then I came back to reality and noticed how close we were. Jungkook noticed that too and he went slightly red making me go red too.

We both looked away and I muttered nonsensical stuff to myself about being so stupid. Why am I such an idiot? Ugh.. This is gonna be a long year, and what's better to start it with awkwardness?

After that, we both copied down our notes, no one spoke wanting to make it even more awkward and weird. I was silently writing and Jungkook did the same, I looked at him from the corner of my eyes, and he was doing his work with full concentration. I took my eyes back at the book in front of me and started to drown in my own world of thinking. Why did I feel comfortable with him touching my cheeks? I never allowed any boy to ever touch me and he just did. And I hate to say this, but I liked it.....Have I developed a crush on him? No. I can't. He is the Jungkook who left you. Who betrayed you and broke his promise. You can't fall for him Y/n. Not now. Not ever.

*Hey peeps! It's the end of chapter 3, and yes, this chapter was short, I know, I'm sorry, It's just I'm writing this at midnight and I want to go eat XD

Also why did Jungkook's mother told him to act like he had forgetten Y/n? And why did Jungkook comply to his mom's order? Has Y/n already developed a crush on Jungkook? Oh my, so many questions that are yet to be answered.
