In the Xxx Park, Sunday Evening

Y/n's Pov :

"Do you really mean it kook?" I asked the brown coconut haired Boy lying beside me.

"Ofcourse, I'll always stay by your side" Kook said while smiling cutely.

"Kook, i want to stay with you and be young forever, is That possible?" I, once again, posed a question to the boy.

"Ofcourse, I'll never leave your side, and we'll stay young forever togther Y/n" Kook said while Showing his iconic bunny smile.

"Promise?" I held out my pinky for him.

"Yeah promise" Kook said while laughing and connecting his pinky with mine.

Because of all the running and playing around all day, I felt really tired and sleepy and yawned, and this didn't go unnoticed by the boy.

"Sleep, you are tired" Kook said while pulling me to him.

"But it's getting late kook, we neet to go to our homes" I said while stiffing a yawn.

"I'll handle it, You should sleep" He said and pointed to his shoulder, "Here lean on my shoulder."

"Alright" I said while yawning again.

After that, all I saw was darkness, as sleep took over me.

Jungkook's Pov :

"Alright" Y/n said while yawning again, and I chuckled seeing her acting so cute. It was hard restraining myself From pinching her cheeks.

I got so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice that Y/n was sleeping so soundly...I noticed her facial features, and sighed sadly.

"Y/n you are so beautiful, whoever will have you in the future will be a really lucky man, I hope you take care of yourself and stay happy" I whispered hoping for her to hear even though I knew she wouldn't as she was in a deep slumber and a heavy sleeper.

The Next Day

Y/n's Pov :

After sleeping for So long, I woke up to find myself in my room. I wasn't surprised as I knew Kook must have Bought me here, it has happened multiple times before. After getting refreshed and dressed up, i went downstairs to have breakfast, I saw my mom sitting down in the living room and muttering something to herself. It looked like she was encouraging herself to say something.

"Mom?" I enquired feeling weird because of her unusual behaviour.

She heard me because she stopped muttering to herself but didn't look at me.

"Mom? what happened?Are you okay?" I frowned starting to get worried now.

"Oh, it's Uh...Nothing sweetie, I'll go prepare your breakfast" She said standing up.

I instantly knew that she was trying to hide something from me, and I wasn't gonna let her ditch me without telling me what's bothering her.

"Mom, something is definitely wrong, what is it? Did I do something? If it is because of staying late outsi-"

I was cutted by my mom when she blurted out and her words made me freeze like a statue.

"He left Sweetie. Jungkook left.." She said while looking at me with sympathy.

"W-what?" I said stuttering and started to panic because I know mom isn't the one to joke about such things.

"I'm sorry sweetie, His mom told me today when you were sleeping, that they have gone to the States, because of Jungkook's Education and his dad's businesses" Mom said while looking at me with sympathy and sadness.

"No ...he promised..." I trailed off not knowing what to say anymore. My throat went dry, I couldn't form words or force them out of my mouth.

I ran to my room, not caring about my mom, not caring about anything at all, and locked the door. My mind started wondering everywhere. My thoughts started getting messy. He left, He broke his promise. He lied to me. Why? I hate liars. I didn't even notice that my face was all tear strained.

He's gone, Will he ever come back?

Why did leave me? Even if he had to leave, he could have atleast said goodbye to me. Am I not even worth a goodbye? I started to cry harder and let myself drown into my thoughts.

After many hours of crying, I felt tired and my face was all puffy and red because of crying so much. Guess he's gone. Gone for good. I still didn't wanted to believe that my 6 years (friendship time) guy best friend left me, without any goodbyes or farewells, He didn't even bother to atleast leave a note.

I hate him. I kept repeating those 3 words in my mind. And soon I fell asleep, yet again, This time hoping that all of this was just a nightmare, But this isn't some fairytale, it's reality, and I had yet to accept it because I could do nothing, nothing at all, I was only six years old at that time after all.
