Chapter 12

Huang comes back to the office.. "Ian what to do! I think she's really scared about this matter.. Maybe she won't come back", Huang informs Ian. Ian stops checking his files and looks at Huang,"So?what do you want me to do?"

Huang replies in a harsh tone, "now this is too much.. You better bring her back here otherwise get ready this time I'm not leaving you." Huang leaves the office. Ian had his pen on his hand. He throws it angrily..

It was already evening time.. After office Ian directly comes in front of Ru Shi's home. He was thinking about what to do.. Whether to talk to her or not. Ru Shi was coming back from supermarket with few groceries in her hand. She notices Ian who was trying to ring the bell of her home, then again stops. Then again doing same thing. She couldn't control herself and starts laughing as it was an unexpected matter totally.

Ian gets startled seeing Ru Shi behind of him. He gets embarrassed and downs his head a little. Ru Shi asks, "President, why are you here? At this time?"

Ian replies, "do you have some time? I need to talk to you..." He stops then again starts, "only if you are comfortable. We can sit down somewhere and talk"

Ian and Ru Shi was sitting in a Roadside restaurant. Ian keeps staring at the restaurant from here to there. Ru Shi breaks the ice, "President, what do you want to talk?".. Ian gets back. He replies, "I'm.. I'm sorry about this morning. I know i scared you a lot. I shouldn't have done it. Actually i have ~~" Ian stops himself.

Ru Shi asks again, "you have?"

Ian then again asks for forgiveness and asks her to return into the job as if she doesn't return then huang will not spare him. Ru Shi then asks, "So president is here because he's scared of huang sir!!" Ian replies, "no no not that actually...." Stops for a while. Then again starts, "actually i needed an excuse to come here. I never asked for forgiveness before, so i don't know how to convince someone.."

Ru Shi then smiles at Ian. She didn't expect Ian would be like this also. She replies, "President it's okay. Its true i was a bit scared but i wouldn't leave the job so easily. Thank you for your consideration."

Ian walks Ru Shi to her home. Ru Shi thanks him for walking her, "thank you president. I'm not inviting you inside as its not appropriate to invite guys".. Both Ian and Ru Shi starts laughing at each other. Ian bids bye and leaves. He notices Ru Shi was still waiting for him to leave the place properly,like before. Once he leaves maybe then she'll get inside of her home!!!

Ru Shi gets was making her dinner. Then she gets a call from her aunt again.

Ru Shi :"(hello aunty good evening)"

Aunty :"(so is everything okay there?)"

Ru Shi :"(yes aunty all fine. Thanks for asking)"

Aunty :"(then it better be.. Listen, we are coming there next month. If we see anything is wrong, which means you lost the bet. Just get ready to marry my precious intelligent son) "

Ru Shi :" (y yes aunty)" Ru Shi gets tensed immediately..aunty cuts the call.

Aunty and uncle has raised her since her childhood, she wants to pay them back but not like this.. She's scared of brother Wang. He doesn't treat her well. Also, she doesn't want to stay in that home for her whole life. So right after graduating she asked permission to let her live, to let her be independent. They gave her a condition, if she looses then she'll have to marry Wang Lu, her aunty's son. As Wang Lu had eyes on her for a long time...

"If your dream seems unreachable, don't lower your dream, raise your effort", Ru Shi murmurs to herself while looking at the sky through the window!!
