Chapter 9

Ian was driving Ru Shi home. Both of them were silent and the environment between them became extremely awkward. Ian breaks the ice and asks her, "so, do you live alone here?"

Ru shi:"Yes president"

Ian:"You parents?"

Ru Shi :"i don't know anything about them. Since my childhood I've been living with my uncle and aunt. I haven't seen my parents ever"

Ian looks at Ru Shi. Ru Shi smiles and says, "Stop looking at me with those pitiful eyes president, i don't need any sympathy. I've been doing well till now and I'm sure I'll do even better in future."

Ian concentrates on driving again. "It must be hard living a life like this. But you are very confident. Keep being like this.. Believe in yourself. You know more than you think you do"

Ru Shi smiles and replies, "Sir you look very cold and introvert type. This is the first time you are talking to me this much.."

Ian comes in front of Ru Shi's home. Ru Shi gets out of the car and thanks Ian again. Ian was about to drive his car again then Ru Shi tries to ask him something. Ian stops her and replies," Don't invite guys so randomly at your home... "

Ru Shi replies with a smile, "Yes president, I understand.. Go back safely.. Good night" Bids bye with her hand. Ian checks Ru Shi through his car's side mirror. Ru Shi was still waiting for him to leave completely. Maybe once he is gone, she'll enter into her home.

Huang calls Ian..

Huang :"(You actually dared to do this?)"

Ian:"(how was the meeting?)"

Huang :"(I'm done, i don't know you anymore.. You stood us up.. How dare you.. I'll strangle you with my own hands. Where were you?)"

Ian :"(come on Don't get angry.. I believe you. I'm sure meeting went well.. I had some work.. So i~~~)" Huang cuts the call before Ian finishes his sentence. Ian smiles," This guy acts like my girlfriend... "Ian reaches his home. He was about to get off his car but he notices a bracelet in his car's seat. He picks it up..Huang angrily comes there and keeps staring at Ian.

Ian:" Wo man stop looking at me like that. I told you that i had some work.. (puts the bracelet in his pocket)"

Huang gets surprised after seeing this.. "What!! You were with a girl? Wow. Who's it? Where does she live?)" Ian ignores him and gets inside of his apartment. Huang keeps pestering Ian with lots of questions.

Huang :"Ian aren't you going to tell me?"

Ian:"Aren't you angry anymore?"

Huang :"Oh come on, you finally got a girl.. Tell me about that first!"

Ian pushes Huang outside and closes the door..

Huang keeps shouting from outside, "Ian tell me come on.. Okay then tell me tomorrow about it no problem.. I'll be waiting"

Ian pours a glass of water and drinks it. He brings the bracelet out of his pocket and stares at it for a while. Meanwhile Ru Shi was searching for her bracelet everywhere at her home."Where did i drop it!! My favourite bracelet is gone just like this? I don't believe it..", Ru Shi murmuring to herself...
