Arranging a Surprise Birthday Party.

(The words in bold & italic are the character's  thoughts)

It’s been few hours that the received and read the letter, but her mind was still occupied with the thought of mysterious sender.

The latter says that Bryce loves her, but he never said anything like that to her, although they meet every day. Now that she thinks about it, in her first meeting with Bryce, she did not become familiar with him very easily. However, he was very persistent and didn’t leave her until she became friends with him. Now she realized that he always does things what she really like. Sometimes he really surprised her.

She was immersed in her thoughts when Julia (her mother) enters.

"Selene my pumpkin what are you doing sitting here didn’t you and Bryce need to go somewhere today"

"Mom! You’re here" she saw her mother walking towards her.

"Yup, I came early today like you asked my sweet pumpkin.” Says while she came to her and hugged her.

“Yeah mom we have a very important meeting with someone today, I was just waiting for you. Let me call Bryce.

She dials his number and the call was answered instantly.

“Hi Bryce mom is home.”

Uhm!....Yeah…...okay I'll be ready bye.  She ends the call after saying that turns to her mom.

“He said, he will be here in fifteen minutes.”

Julia nods while looking at her daughter’s cheerful smile.

“You must be a tired mom. Why don't you go take shower, I’ll make coffee for you.”

“No, you don't need to honey I'm not that tired.” She denied and tried to get up.

“But I want to make coffee for you today, pleaseeeee I insist.” Says hugging her tightly.

“Okay my pumpkin.” Her mother left after giving her a kiss on the forehead.

She smiled and texted Bryce. They discuss their plan which was her mother's surprise birthday party. She gets up after talking to Bryce. She went to the kitchen to make Coffee. After that she changed and when Bryce came,

she left with him.

*****    Some time later     *****

Julia receives a call from Selene.

“Hi mom I am not feeling well and going to see the doctor, will you come to the hospital?  Bryce is coming to pick you up.”

“What happened honey? tell me. “Asks in voice full of concerns.

“Nothing big mommy I am just not feeling well, and I just wanted to see you right now.”

“Oh! thank goodness.” She sighed in relief.

“Don’t worry sweetheart, I am just coming.”  Ends the call and gets up.

On the other side Selene finished her call and gives a thumbs up to Bryce.  She was at the place where they

were arranging the surprise birthday party for Julia. All the preparations were done and now she asked Bryce to bring her mother here.

*****   Few hours later    *****

“So, mom did you like your birthday surprise.” She asked after they returned home.

“Yes! I like it because it was from my sweet daughter.” Her mother said wiping tears from her eyes.

“You know, you are the only precious thing in my life. It was meaningless before I got you. I was so scared after your accident Thank God I got you back. “

“Oh! mommy don't be sad, everything is fine now, you have me so why crying, I want my usual mom this mommy is making me sad too.” She said hugging her mother.

“Okay I won't cry anymore.” Julia stopped crying after that. They sat there laughing and talking about today's event before going to bed.
