Chapter 4

I walked into the library and walked over to the language section the library was way more organized than any other.

I pulled out a Latin book I figured since this pack was a Latin Italian pack I could learn its language or something

After about and hour Anthony came up "here you are dinners ready come eat" he said leaning against the door way "yeah hold on" "Hei mihi Latinam." he said in latin translation in case your wondering was ah learning latin I see or something of the lines of that.

"Im 'trying ut saltem" I replied "hm not bad for only an hour of reading" he said with a smirk I smiled and stood up then walked over to him.

"let's go get food" I replied and walked out of the room I went down the steps and into the kitchen, I grabbed a plate and put spaghetti on it and sat at the table.

about a minute later he came down and got some food then sat across from me we ate in almost complete silence after about 20 minutes we finished and I just kinda sat there

"what're you thinking babe" he said with a confused look "let's go for a walk" I said "what" he asked still confused "I am trying to understand the world from your point of view and I can't do that if I don't know you so let's go for a walk" I continued.

he smiled and grabbed my hand "well let's go then" he said pulling me out the back door, a few minutes later we were walking in the woods behind his house.

"so what do you want to know first" he asked "well so far the thing that's been bothering the most.." I said "and what's that" he replied, I stopped and looked him directly in the eyes I could tell he was confused so I just came out and said it "how tall are you, I'm mean for gods fucking sake your like 2 feet taller then me" I replied completely ecstatic.

he just stood there for a minute then burst into laughter "what's so funny" I said "you are" he replied still laughing after a minute he stopped "I'm 6'8" he replied "of course you are" I replied crossing my arms and putting on my pouty face.

a second later he started sniffing the air "rouge" he said and his eyes went black "what" I said confused "get back to the house" he replied then he ran off I sniffed the air and a familiar scent came into my nose "oh no" I said aloud then I ran after him.

I didn't catch up to him for about 5 minutes when I saw him holding the person with the familiar scent by the throat "don't hurt him" I said desperately Anthony turned around.

"I told you to go back to the house" "obviously I don't listen now put him down" I replied "why should I" he said turning back "because that's my brother" he stood there for a moment then threw him to the ground.

"sorry" he said in a pouty tone "why are you here?" I asked helping Conner up "it's happening again" he said and I knew exactly what it meant "but he was supposed to be fine" I replied and Conner nodded "apparently he got hurt again and it caused him to u well you know" he said.

I sighed "ok what the hell is going on" Anthony asked "I have to go save the future alpha of the sundrone pack"I said to him "your not going anywhere" he replied angrily.

"I don't have a choice" I yelled

"What do you mean you don't have a choice?" he asked I sighed "before my parents died they made a contract with the alpha of the sundrone pack because his son was deathly ill if I gave him my blood when ever he needed it we could stay on his land the contractor set to automatically stop when I turn 21 and also in the contract it's stated that even if my parents die it will continue so I have no choice" I replied

"well why don't you break the contract?" he asked sounding a little angry "because if I do then they will hunt my brother and i down and kill us" I said in a serious tone.

"but why does it have to be you why not your brother" he asked "because I have a rare blood type that my brother doesn't have but tyler does" I replied.

he stood still for a moment then took a deep breath "fine but I'm coming with I want to speak to that alpha" he said grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the woods "let's go Conner boy unless your running back" he continued.

we got to his car and he put me in the passenger seat while Conner got in the back and he in the driver's side.

we drove for about an hour before we got to sundrones pack "ah Stella it's lovely to see you again" the alpha said "And Alpha williams I didn't know you were acquainted with miss woods here" he continued.

"yes well she just so happens to be my mate" Anthony replied "I see well let's get Stella here set up and talk shall we" he replied he took me into the infirmary where I had to sit down after a few minutes him and Anthony left and Conner was the only one with me.

a nurse came in and stuck the needle in to start taking my blood, "today we will be taking 70%" the nurse said "that's not in the contract your only aloud to take 40%" Conner replied "I'm just following orders" the nurse continued.

I knew what they would do if I didn't cooperate so I just sat there and waited, eventually all the 70% of the blood they wanted was drawn, and I stood up but when I did I suddenly got really dizzy and fell I would've hit the ground if Conner hadn't run over and caught me.

"it's ok I got you" he said picking me up "look what you did" he growled at the nurse "I did my job" she replied then walked out of the room "yeah I'm sure" he replied under his breath to where only he and I could hear it.
