Chapter 2

"well what do we have here" the one rogue said looking into my eyes still holding me up by the throat.

"is this the one we've been looking for" the other rogue said. the one holding me by my throat sniffed me then smiled "I believe so".

"what do you want from me" I said barely understandable "your blood line" after a second we heard a branch crack they both looked at each other "I'll go check it out" the second rogue said.

as soon as the rouge disappeared from view we heard a scream "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" the rogue holding me by my throat threw me to the ground "stay" he said but before he could take another step he was attacked by a huge black wolf dead on impact.

as soon as the wolf was done with him he turned to me my eyes wide but I didn't look away "Mate"... I said and the rest it's basically history that's how I got to where I am now.

sitting in a car next to the big bad Alpha King "What's your name?" he questioned keeping his eyes on the road "What's it matter" I replied "it matters because I'm your mate and you know my name" he said.

he was right I did know his name I mean for goddesses sake every one knew his name. he was The Anthony Williams the strongest wolf on the planet also known as the alpha King the stories told about him I heard don't even do him Justice it said he kills for the fun of it.

"your name don't make me ask again" he said turning to look at me then putting his eyes back on the road "Stella" I said short and sweet "no last name" he said raising an eyebrow "my name is Stella Woods" I finally said.

"well Stella Woods as you know I'm Anthony Williams" he said reaching for me but I flinched and he pulled his hand back "I won't hurt you" he said "I do draw the line somewhere" he continued "and where's that" I asked still looking out the window.

"you don't need to know that" he replied we spent the next few minutes of the car ride in silence until I decided to break it "I want to go home" I said sitting up "you are" he said bluntly.

"my home is not with you" I growled "your home is wherever I tell you it is" he replied

and that's what I made an extremely smart decision.

I noticed the locks were good enough for me to just be able to pull up, I quickly and unnoticeably pulled up the lock then as he wasn't even paying attention I opened the door and jumped out that's right he didn't even tell me to wear a seatbelt.

I jumped out and rolled and scraped my knees and arms I quickly got up and ran I heard the car screech as I continued to run I know wouldn't make it far but maybe I can make it a decent amount of feet after a few minutes of running I collapsed to the ground once again my lungs and complete pain I couldn't run anymore.

a clinched my chest and complete pain practically unable to breathe as I heard that his footsteps behind me "are you in fucking sane" he said getting in front of me "I was going 90 miles an hour" "I think you are for going 90 miles an hour" I replied still barely able to breathe and feeling as if I was about to pass out "what's wrong with you" he said is everything started to go dark around me "my lungs" was all I was able to get out before I passed out.

ANTHONY'S POV

"dammit" I said "shes in fucking sane" I bent down and tried to wake her up "Stella wake up c'mon" I said and nothing, I made the realization I you did to get her to a hospital.

so I quickly picked her up and ran her back to my truck and then drove as fast as I could to the nearest hospital.

I got her out of the truck and ran her inside "help" I said "she can bearly breathe" a few nurses and a doctor came out luckily it was our pack doctor so I knew she was in good hands.

I quickly put her on the stretcher that a few nurses brought out and they ran her in to a room and close the door so I couldn't see I didn't know why I cared so much for someone I just met mate or not and I sure as hell didn't understand why she would jump out of a moving car.

after a few hours of sitting in the waiting room the pack doctor came out and I stood up "how is she" I asked "well it seems she has respiratory distress syndrome it's normally found in new borns and not many have it for a life time" he said

"why did she never heal from it she's a wolf" I said in confusion "that I'm not sure about unfortunately but don't worry she should be fine but I do want to keep her overnight" he replied.

I nodded "can I see her" I asked and he nodded and took me to her room "I'll make sure no one disturbs you and your mate" he said with a wink then closing the door.

I guess it was pretty obvious.

STELLAS POV

I woke up to a somewhat dim light and a more or less white room I looked over to see him my mate but I can't say I was happy to see him.

"your awake" he said a subtle smile on his face I didn't say anything "why did you run when you knew this would happen" he said again tears started to well up in my eyes "answer me" he said starting to get angry.

"because you wanted to take me away from my life, my brother the only one who has ever actually cared about me. I said the tears rolling down my cheeks.
