This bastard. He always fool around and say something clearly impossible.

"Anyways, how are you feeling now?" I asked as I eat the sandwich.

"Really you're asking me? How sweet of you" he is mocking me! This freak!

"Not that I care anyways so nevermind I asked" I replied coldly, trying to hold my laughter from the look on his face.

We spend the time talking about what happened at school this day and bout her insensitive and irritating girl friends or was it his girlfriend? F*ck I'm jealous of him! How could he dare having one. Grrrrr.

Time passed by quickly when my phone rang.

"Oh? I'm going to take the call" I told him and he raised his brows at me in response.

The call goes with an unknown dialer,

"Hello? May I possibly know if this is Alyana Brooks I am calling?" the woman said.

"Speaking. Who is this by the way?" I asked a bit grumpily.

"Ugh. Well, you see. I am Gale's classmate - Lei.. I. uhm.." I cut her off by responding coldly where even Gale was shocked

"Oh. If you're going to ask me about the presents, I already gave it to Gale. If you wanna ask how he is, it seems like he is fine and maybe in a day or two he'll be back for school already. If you wanna ask something like this you should've called him. And if you don't have his number I'm afraid I can't give you that as well. So if nothing else, I'm dropping the call now."

"....."

"...."

"I'm sorry for calling suddenly.. I didn't mean to annoy you. Maybe this isn't the good time too" she said.

"It is pretty late as well. Is there nothing urgent?" I rudely asked.

"Can I possibly save your number?"

"Oh? You're asking for my permission though you already did call me. Anyways, I think its fine"

"Great! Thank you! Have a nice night then and sorry for the trouble"

"Yea sure. Bye"

I snorted as I ended the call.

Gale looked so confused, as well as I am.

"What's with that face, sh*thead?" I raised my right brow as I speak.

"Who was that though? One of my classmates?"

"Yea. Lei was it? I think"

"How did she even have your contact number?"

"Who knows? I have no idea at all" as I shrugged my shoulders corresponding with my response.

"I didn't even thought you have the balls to hit on elders, you boyish princess" he snickered.

"What the?! Could you please quit giving me names from that Yanny of yours derived from who-knows-where and others. I'm going home now! Get well you lazy bum" and I sticked my tongue out as I ran outside his room but still heard him shout "I hope you trip over, clumsy stick!"

I laughed with what he shouted and even auntie down stairs giggled as she heard it.

"I'm going home now. Thank you for letting me in, auntie!" I said as I kissed her cheeks.

Auntie did the same "Come over again. See you around" she said. I smiled and I left.

As I stepped outside their door, I looked at the house in front - which is my home.

I am having thoughts and I rushed home.

Reaching my room I took my sketch pad and a pencil and started sketching.

I sketched his face. Yes, Gale's face. Him having the shocked and amused expression mixed, visible. With his eyes widened as if he saw a ghost yet it is sparkling like he found a diamond. His mouth partly opened as he is gazing into my face, with disbelief.

"I never get to see this chance often 'cause he keeps a flashing smile at school which really attracts attention because it compliments his monstrous looks!", "Yea. Definitely a monster! I should learn tricks from him on how to make a move on girls. Hahaha!"

Oh no-- I'm thinking loudly again. How embarrassing if someone heard me.

It was always like this and its fun. I hope this will keep on going and our friendship will never end.

Probably it wouldn't end.

Anyways, I wonder who that caller was and what's with her for calling me that time.

Lei, huh. Let's save her digits incase she dares to call again.

Maybe she is going to confess to me? Oh my goodness! Now I'm overly excited to see how does she looks like and who is she exactly. Maybe we could work things out and be happy forever.

Ugh! So naive of me! Imagine the impossible to happen? How unrealistic. Hahaha!

I probably should stop day dreaming and head to sleep now.

Turning off the lamp with a big smile on my face.

Feeling excited and nervous about that "Lei", I didn't notice when did I fell asleep.
