Looking into Josh’s room I see him fall asleep. I slowly close the door as quietly as I can and I think to myself “Maybe I’ll tell him but not today he’s not ready”. “You know it's been awhile since we’ve been alone together Sage” I shift my attention to my right and here I see a beautiful girl with hair pure as the driven snow and eyes as bright as the shiniest ruby’s,

“ don’t you know its not good to keep sneaking up on people” I can see her smirk “what can i say old habits die hard, you of all people should know that Sage “The Reaper””. At the sound of hearing that name I quickly turn and grab Vivian by the collar of her shirt lifting her off the ground “DON’T you dare say that name again!, especially in front of josh. If you do ,you better say goodbye to your tongue”

I can feel a presence staring behind me. I slowly let her go as I knew her partner was nearby “you Sage a bit of your dark side was showing” almost in a mocking tone she looked away “just look at your own aura and you see what I mean” I look down at my hands and I see a dark aura surrounding me I quickly start to panic and forced myself to calm down,

slowly the aura started to dissipate “you did that on purpose didn’t you?”. But when I look up she was gone I look around then looked down to my watch it was 1:35pm “well I guess I can for a stroll”. Outside, oh man it is so cold I try to warm myself up but it doesn't do much so I just bare with it.

Along the way back I feel as if someone has been following me for awhile now, I slow my pacing stray off my path to keep this person from finding Josh and I head to the nearest alley. By this time it was already dark and no one was out, I turn to face the figure

“who are you and why are you following me?”, slowly the dark figure exits the shadows and is in a hoodie covering its face “well you might not know me but you might know my master, Lord of the void Kar’on”

I look at the figure and let out a little chuckle that quickly turned to laughter “ Hahaha.. You can’t be serious Kar’on’s been dead for several centuries I personally can attest to this as my family was the one to dethrone him and bring his head back on a pike so whatever your going to say isn’t threatening at all so you might as well leave before I do the same to you”

The figure revealed itself to be a creature that had been disfigured and contorted “when was last time you checked with your little coven BOY!”

the creature leaped towards me swingin what looks like a blade that has been damaged. Quickly I Summoned my weapon in one fell swoop decapitated the voidling, I walked over to the head “ I’m guessing you don’t fully remember who I am, I am Sage “The Reaper””

the head coming to life starts shake and beg for mercy, dark smoke starts to appear from my body covering me like a robe I dawn my weapon a scythe sharper than any weapon enchanted with the power to slay voidlings and only one has been able to wield such a crude weapon and that's me.

I quickly slam the point of my blade through the brain of the voidling head, quickly dissolving into dust. I put away my weapon and make my way back to the hotel as fast as I can only to discover its on fire I rush into the building and make my way down to the basement

“ I need to find the hatch where is it god dammit” I search everywhere and finally i find it under the rug put the code in, twisting the lever I open the hatch to find it empty I start to panic “no no no this was where they were to hide in case of an emergency where can they be”

I rush out and remember that there another safe house just down the street . I waste no time I run down to the local food store called “Fate’s Sandwiches” I open the door no one to be seen i make my way to the back of the store and open the door I sigh in relief and spot Josh and the others “oh thank god you guys made it out” Josh looked revived and rushed over to me and gave me a hug

“ Sage your okay, your okay I was worried you didn’t make it” crying at this point he hugged even tighter I looked to Vivian and Kennith “we need to talk” both looked at each other then back at me and shook their heads “ we know”.
