After Noct left the butler came in with a tray of light food and warm milk in his hands.

Placing it all down on the table the butler took the tray away with a worried smile.

"Miss, I'm glad your awake. But may I ask what happened?"

Confused, Lily tilted her head at the sudden question.

"Young master seems to be troubled."

Lily flinched after hearing the butler's words and frowned.

"Huh? what's wrong with Noct?"

"I saw him earlier before I came in. It looks like he's quite distracted."

Picking up the glass on the table Lily took a sip of the warm milk.

"Distracted? he's probably exited about going out tomorrow to have fun!"

Hearing the words "Going out" made the butler's face turn pale in an instant as he panicked of what to do.

"M - miss! you can't go out, the doctor said you need to rest for a few months. Besides there's still poison left in your body so you have no strength to walk much less go outside!"

Feeling a bit offended Lily arched her eyebrows.

"Who said I have no strength to walk? I'm perfectly fine! If I don't go out to relax my condition might get worse." Lily replied in all seriousness.

"But miss..."

Lily stared at the flustered butler before remembering something from the character Lily's memories.

That's right. Mr. butler is like a grandpa to both Lily, and Noct.

Living with Mr. butler since birth, they were like family. Now that Lily is in charge of the things the deceased Edhiburgh couple left behind Mr. butler was of great help in getting themselves together and overcome their parents death.

Although Mr. butler is strict he was a person who loved children to the core.

Could not stop his tears from falling the butler covered his mouth as tears fell like a stream in the butlers' face.

"Miss, it's been a while since you last went out to purely enjoy yourself. About tomorrow, you may go out but you must always stay put on young master's side. If you feel sick or dizzy, you must tell young master immediately.

I'll go prepare for tomorrow miss. Please get some rest."

'I must make sure nothing happens to miss tomorrow. Would fifty knights be enough? I'll get some shadow guards too, some medic and about twenty magicians just in case.'

The butler left with the same expression as Noct when he left Lily's room.

Unknown to both the butler and Lily, Noct was thinking of making Lily wear some magic items to protect her and is on his way to spend all his money if needed.

"Ohhh.... I suddenly got the chills. The weather is warm, there was no wind, is someone talking behind my back?"

Lily rubbed her arms together.

"The plan failed."

Sitting in a round table with a wine in hand the human figure at the front seat hidden in the shadows tilted it's head and rested it's chin on its other hand.

"It failed yet the one who ruined the plan is still alive?"

Tapping the table another human figure covering it's face with a mask emerged from the shadow as it leaned in.

"From what I heard the little lady is close to being dead but is still hanging on."

"How many hours since she drank it?"

"It's about nine hours now."

Shocked by the masked man's words another human figure covered in black from head to toe spoke in the dark.

"Nine hours? Surprisingly, someone managed to survive for that long."

Leaning back in the dark the masked man gave an evil smile.

"Haha, isn't it interesting? I'm going-"

"No."

Drinking the wine. The man on the front seat continued.

"Leave her be. Those people should be watching the lady, if you get caught it will be troublesome replacing you."

Hearing the person's words the smile on the masked man's face vanished in an instant.

"Mmm.... it's too boring. Besides the fact that I'm currently weak I'm totally fine."

Lily clenched her fists repeatedly and tilted her head.

"I just have limited strength but I am both physically and mentally fine. I can still kill a grown man if I push myself."

Rubbing her face, Lily stood up and walked bare feet towards the floor to ceiling glass door.

Lily stared at the bright clear 'moons' in the night sky and the stars scattered shining brightly like diamonds.

"Haaa.... I still can't believe that I'm actually in the world of a novel.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry. This is really unbelievable."
