Inside the master room of the Edhiburgh mansion. The place was spacious as it gives off a bright warm tone due to the cool sunlight that shines in from the balcony.

It contains a working table beside the king size bed. A coffee table in front and beside the large comfy white couch was the glass - like door separating the room and the balcony.

Sitting at the side of the king size bed Lily stretched her arm out and slapped her pale face.

"This is not a dream."

Jumping up from the bed she strode hastily to the working table and grabbed a mirror on the edge.

Lily's hand was trembling slightly as she raised the mirror in front of her face..

"Woah.."

Caressing her red cheek from the slap earlier Lily frowned and opened her mouth to check as she moved her head from side to side.

'This face looks damn average. As expected of a side character.'

Lily's long white hair draped on her shoulders as her bangs slightly hang loose in front of her deep blue eyes and pale face.

"But I don't remember having white hair..."

Nodding in a daze she reached out her hand and patted the now hers, the current Lily's little brother, Noct's head.

'I always wanted a younger sibling!'

Looking at her little brother with a gentle gaze, Lily leaned in and hugged the sobbing Noct.

'I have a family now and its a younger brother who I can spoil!'

Thinking about it Lily laughed in excitement with a disturbing smile on her face.

"He - hehe..."

Caressing Noct's head Lily looked down at her younger brother's face.

Making eye contact, Lily's face turned stiff after noticing Noct's confused gaze.

"Sister... you look and sound weird! you, a - are you ok?"

Feeling awkward Lily answered in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Ah.... that, I'm fine. It's just the remaining poison in me turned my hair white. The poison is really strong that I wonder who wanted the female scholar dead so badly. Isn't it funny? I ended up laughing because they failed. Ha ha ha!" ( The female lead is known as the first female scholar in the land of Arabec. )

Feeling proud of her quick, true and most importantly, reasonable answer Lily started laughing away.

Anger and sadness filled Noct's eyes as he abruptly stood up.

"Sister!!"

Startled with her younger brother's actions she lifted her face up and looked at his eyes expressing a hurt look.

"Huh? what's wrong little brother?"

"You-"

'Your laughing when you almost left me alone.... If you were just trying to save the female scholar you should've just slapped the poison away. Why did you need to drink it?'

Kneeling on the cold floor Lily searched Noct's body carefully as if checking a fragile ancient glass plate.

"Sister.... I'm not hurt because you acted as my cushion.. I should be the one asking you that! your too nice sister..."

Feeling convinced that her older sister really is too nice. Noct made up his mind to protect this kind hearted older sister of his.

"Sister, you need not be kind when it will hurt you. If someone try to take advantage of you this mature brother will take care of them!"

'Huh? little brother are you misunderstanding something?'

Feeling confused Lily immediately changed the topic with a cough.

"Ahem, now that I'm awake I remember that we haven't went out together because of my busy schedule. How about going out for shopping tomorrow?"

Looking back at the memories it really has been a while since the last time they hang out with each other.

Looking at his older sister Noct pursed his lips into a straight line before complaining.

"Your not well! you just woke up!"

"No. I'm feeling great already!"

"But-"

"No buts! listen to your older sister and let's go have fun tomorrow."

'I don't feel pain at all just a little tired. Since I'm damn rich I'll go on a shopping spree with my cute little brother!'

Nodding in content Lily did not notice her little brother's helpless look.
