"Man, you are still a baby or what?"
Jude, Clark's buddy, got a severe injury while pumping his bike. He could never be a less careless one. More of it was, he didnot treat it for three days. "Are you happy to feel this sick now?" Well, Clark was his only buddy, for no one liked him for his Vitiligo.
"When will you stop scolding me?"
"Until you rectify your error percentage."
"Hmm, I will."
Clark had brought him to the hospital, Jude's body was burning out of fever. His was almost shivering like a damaged generator. And, he had to come with a companion.
"Sit here. I'm looking for the doctor."
"Yea."
A lady was sitting by him, she disgraced her look on her face while staring at him. He was clattering his teeth, yet he chose to stand instead of sitting beside her. Resting his back on the hospital wall, ofcourse.
"Hey, why are you standing?" Jude opened his eyes and pointed at the disgusted lady. That lady just shook her head to the other side.
"Anyways, come. The doctor is ready."
Clark helped him to go to the doctor's cabin. The doctor was a family friend of Clark thus leaving all his patients he attended Jude. The doctor looked at Jude with an intense gaze, his injury was on his elbow, that had white out growth in between the bloody cut. He pulled out the chair, getting up from his place.
"Sit."
He checked the pulses. The heartbeat. Then the pressure and the wound. Jude was truly shivering like hell. For the fact that he is too skinny, his raised parts were easily noticed. To the doctor too.
He went back to his place, while bring up the writting pad he said, "His condition doesn't seems good. I think he needs to be hospitalized. Clark, go and check, if ward number 18 is free."
"Yea."
He walked upstairs where the ward was. He knew the hospital more than anyone could, as he is the only one to bring his grandpa for dialysis every week. Because his grandpa only listens to him, after his mother's demise.
"No! Hey! Wait."
He ran into the ward number 18. Where Henry made his plans to quit everything and leave. And, Clark just couldn't stand it.
Clark ran into him and grabbed his wrist, firmly. Henry snatched his arm but Clark held it again. Henry was moving in haste. Clark couldn't hold his arm straight. He pressed the nurse bell with his left hand.
"Nurse! Sister Baron! Sister! Come fast!"
The nurse came in while Henry struggled to let go his hand from Clark's grip. The nurse took the syringe from his hand. He was a bit calmer, then.
"Hey, kiddo! Do you have any Idea, how dangerous this empty syringe is?"
Henry didnot speak. He was staring at his hands, that were holding each other. The white bed sheet over him, turned crippled. Seconds later, he realised someone was staring at him. Clark was.
"What?"
"Nothing." Clark turned to the nurse, "Please stay here for ten minutes."
"Sure."
While leaving he said, "I'll be back, wait for me." His hand crossed the door end, and he was off. Henry looked back down, at his covered feet.
"Will you leave or not?"
The nurse nodded. *No*
Going downstairs, Clark said, "It isn't free, doctor. What should I?"
"You don't need to worry. His fever has gone down. He's fine now. I am prescribing some medicines, take them regularly." The doctor said.
Jude seemed constricted. His mind wasn't working or what? He was staring empty at the doctor. As soon as the doctor gave him the prescription, he almost snatched it and got off his chair.
"Thank you."
He left at once. He looked upon the prescription, it stated the doctor's name was, Gorge Williams. He moved the prescription aside and looked his pants, the wetness wasn't visible. The door of his cabin opened again. Clark came out. When the door was closing, Gorge smirked at him. Jude looked away.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. Let's head back."
"Yeah, you sit there for a moment, I'll be back in a minute."
"Okay. Where are you going?"
"To say something to someone."
"Fine."
Clark rushed back.
