...I sat down in front of the mirror. Staring at myself; I should be admiring how beautiful My maids made me but, I was angry. I was getting married to God knows who. I've never seen him before I've only heard rumors....

...My mother Queen Maebeth walked into my room so gracefully. She dismissed my maids, Kyla and Nina....

..."you look so beautiful Astrid. put on a smile and don't frown. it's about time you came downstairs. your groom has sent his carriage for you already." she said and left...

...I sighed and bit my lower lip. I focused on my face then turned and walked out slowly. I was announced. I went down the stairs gracefully and elegantly. I wasn't wearing a smile at all....

...I Arrived at the bottom of the stairs. My father King Lucien. The king of Decresh. He smiled warmly at me ....

..."You look breathtaking my sweet princess" he said and kissed my forehead. The crown prince my Elder brother walked up to me....

..."Do not provoke him little one" he murmured and I giggled....

...I was helped into the carriage. I waved at them and was taken to my husband's home. I expected a Kingdom I was familiar with. but instead we passed a cranky old gate. The coach stopped and stepped down and knocked on the door of the carriage. I opened it....

..."Step down your highness"...

..."Why....? What happened.....?" I was confused...

..."Step down..." he repeated. I took his hand and came down. he took me and passed through a mist. We arrived at a very beautiful city....

..."Where are we?" The coach smiled...

..."Welcome to Ivory Coast" I admired the city. it was so beautiful. He flinged his wrist and a carriage decorated with green leaves and flowers of different kinds."Get in my lady" I entered. then the carriage started moving. The coach wasn't riding it " I'll see you my lady"...

...I looked out and saw two horses who had wings in a moment I was in the air I arrived at a Big castle. I heard a trumpet as it blew. The door of my carriage was opened and I was helped down....

..."Your grace, our Sire awaits you" a beautiful maid with pointed ears and huge wings said. I gasped in fear and was shivering but I tried hard to show it...

...I followed her into the castle. I was led to a dressing room. I was dressed into a simple plain but stylish gown their clothes seemed odd....

..." Let's go my lady" I followed the 3maids which accompanied me to a big chamber. I was left alone. I saw a tall figure in front of the window....

...He turned and looked at me. I couldn't help it my mouth dropped. He wasn't handsome but beautiful, Stunningly beautiful. He had average cut white hair that was weaved. His lips were perfect, his nose purrfect. high cheeked bone. A square jaw line. He looked dark. his skin was like bronze....

...His red eyes roamed over me. " I see you've arrived"...

..."if I Haven't would you have seen me?" I murmured to myself...

..."You've gotten more beautiful" his eyes narrowed" Make yourself at home Astrid" he said and grinned wickedly at me and flashed his sparkling white teeth and fangs....

...He left after having a good look at me. I went through the room. it had the most beautiful view I have ever seen. The butterflies that surrounded the garden, made the garden seem enchanted...

...I went back into the room and layed...

down gently on the soft bed. It was wide and soft and very comfortable. It was was better than the one in Decresh.

...The maid I had met earlier came into the room....

..."Your highness...our Sire awaits you in the garden. it's time for dinner" she said ....

...I didn't know anybody's name in this castle and I'll like to know what I've gotten myself into....

...As if she could read my mind...

..."Don't worry your grace in time" she smiled...

I stood up and followed her to the garden I so adored. I saw the man if I maybe Curt my Husband. I sat down with him at the small table. He was focused on a newspaper. he raised his eyes slowly and looked at me. He didn't smile.

..."I see you do not know who I am. So I would like to tell you myself. I take it your father did not enlighten you, did he?"...

..."No he didn't" I answered back . Afraid to look into those red eyes....

..."Hmm.." he paused "You could call me Niklaus. As you can see this is my kingdom" I didn't say anything. "Come"...

He stood up and stretched his hand . I slowly took it. "Close you eyes"

he said softly. I obeyed "Now open them" as I opened them we were on the roof of the castle I looked down and screamed in terror.....^_^
