My 8th Birthday

I woke up from wet kisses of my brothers and parents.They shouted, "Happy birthday baby!" Then comes another wave of wet kisses. They squeezed themselves in my bed and hugged me tight. But it seems like I'm in my parent's room now. It has always been a tradition to spend the night together on birthdays or any other occasions like Christmas and New year.

My father carried me and said, "Baby, happy birthday! We love you so much! Do you want to open your gifts now or later on your party?" My mother throws herself to us and hugged us then said, "Baby, I have lots of clothes for you! You will be like a princess!"

I kissed my father and my mother's face and answered sleepily, "I will open it later." And fell asleep on my father's shoulder again.

"Okay. Okay. It's midnight and we need to sleep too so we won't look like zombies later in the party!" My father said will carefully putting me in middle of the bed.

My eldest brother Ethan turned off the light and went to the bed of my parents along with my other brothers.

10a.m in Eunice house.

"Baby, you look so pretty! You are so lucky to have my best genes in you!" my mom said proudly.

I stared in my reflection in the mirror. The clothes my mom made is so gorgeous like those in Disney princesses.

The door suddenly opened and Evan came jumping around while singing happy birthday to you.

"You sing like a frog!",Edward said on his back.

"Frogs doesn't sing. stupid!", Evan snapped back.

"They do! Look at you." He teased.

"Mom! Edward failed his math quiz. I saw it! Edward was so shocked his eyes are bulging.

"Enough." Ethan said then stared at Edward and added, "I will check your math quiz later."

Edward wilted in the corner. He's dead if his eldest brother saw his score.

"Brothers! Are these my gifts?", I asked happily while looking at the presents in their hands.

"Open it", Ethan said.

Ahh! Lots of dolls and clothes! I am so happy.

The maid knocked,"Guests have arrived Sir."

"Then lets go greet them!" my father said.

Before walking out of the door Link pulled my hands and gave me a round thing in a colored plastic. When i checked it, I became more excited.

Its sour strips!! Its crumbled like a ball but who cares about its appearance its my favorite!

"Shhh. Keep it fast." he said in low voice.

My energy is in its highest now walking to my party. I have candies later. Finally!

When I arrived, my classmates and my brothers friends are already in the venue. There's alot of foods, music, balloons, big bubbles, cotton candies, marshmallows, clowns and you can get a face or body paint. I have a colored deer shadow at the back of my neck. Same as my mom. I asked her before what it is and why she has it and she said, She has it to remind herself. And it means power, freedom and grace. I don't know what it means but I like it because it looks pretty.

My party ended with my friends receiving lots of giveaways from me. I'm wishing they go home fast so I can start eating my candies! I received sour strips from Link and Betty only. I need to be careful in eating it because if Edward and Evan saw it they will surely eat half or more than half of it! And if Ethan saw it, he will confiscate it and will only give me 1 or 2 strips if i try to be cute. No, i want them all!
