It was a dark rainy night. Me and my friends decided to drive and buy some foods because we were having a sleepover.

As I was driving on the street, an unfamiliar sign caught my eyes. Beside the sign was a lady, She was crying.

As a curious person and out of pity, me and Jessie, my friend decided to talk to the lady and convince her to let us take her to her home.

"Please ma'am, it's raining so hard. Do tell us where you live and we will take you there"

"I-i don't think you can drive me home"

"I'm pretty sure we can, please let us help you"

She just stood there and looked at us like she was about to burst in tears again. We became quite for a second. And out of nowhere she decided to speak.

"Street 55, Near Sunburst bridge. T-thats where I live"

After she said the location, we guided her in to the car and drove. As I was driving, Jessie was talking to her.

"**Miss what happened to you, why were you crying?"

"M-my boyfriend broke up with me"

"Ah, what a bummer, I'm sorry to hear that**"

Their conversation goes on and on. And finally we reached out destination. The lady got out of the car and waved goodbye. She thanked us for driving her home.

It was a fun ride, Not until we reached my house and told the story to my older sister.

"Yeah, that's where we dropped her off. She said she lived there"

"Alice! did you know that, that street was notorious as a killing and raping sight?!"

"Dude you're joking right?"

"No! I had a classmate once, We were second year back then. Her boyfriend called her to go to Street 55 Sunburst Bridge. We thought he was going to surprise her, But he didn't. He broke up with her and left her there. Some of her boyfriends, friends came up to her and raped her. After they molested her they throw her on the river."

Chills stared to get to me and Jessie. I was so freaked out. I couldn't sleep that night.

A week after, There was a news in that a girl was murdered in the same street, same place, same location. Then, a picture of the victim appeared on the TV screen. I dropped my phone and begin to tremble.

The victim was my best friend, Jessie...

I quickly went to that place and by the time I got there, Many people and police officers were there.

I was devastated and candy help my self from crying.

"Jessie!!!"

The police officers stopped me from goin near her cold body. Out of the corner of my eyes, I once saw again the girl that we helped to get to this place.

She looked at me and grinned. In a blink of an eye she's no longer there.

A month later, Me and my sister found out that Jessie's brother is the one who murdered her. He confessed that when Jessie told the story about the girl we helped and the creepy story about her. He started to loose his mind. It turns out that he was one of the person who raped the girl. He was afraid that Jessie would find out and tell the truth, that is why he killed her.

He was sentenced with life imprisonment. But for me, that punishment was never enough.

He took the life of his sister, my best friend. On the same street where he also committed his first crime. The Street of the dead, raped and murdered....
