Episode 1: Update

What is it like to live in a game? A light novel? I have read so many books about them. That was like my haven, my escape from reality.

Some may disagree in such a philosophical manner, but in this world - you can't expect everything for what you did, what you need, have, or anything that revolves around it.

No need to cast a gloom on me since today is the official release of my favorite Novel "I'm yours. " that was recently-adopted to an Otome Game titled I'm yours.

"I'm yours" is a story about a penurious main character Ellie who meet Duke Enclart, a man with a stone heart, who can't even love her finance tied in a political marriage. Ellie gave him a chance to open his heart once more. As the story entailed various events, The two ended up marrying each other, and the endearing story of the two couples quickly inherited to tale in the Empire as a Story of Love and Malice.

The Villainess, like most other stories, was exiled, her title and surname was pulled off and will live as a Nun in a faraway village that is almost secluded to other towns and city. I felt sad for her, yet her actions were too an extent was disgraceful and malicious. There were a lot of theories about her next life. The book "I'm yours" was so popular that a lot of the young and teen readers indulged in the story itself. There are ones that lead to different deaths' while others lead to new events that are view as the aftermath story of the Villainess getting exiled.

For the mobs in the game, all of them had their good foretelling. That is why the story was so interconnected to one another that made it feel like watching a drama.

Overjoyed- I rolled over and over on my bed while hugging my pillow. I'm a fan of the author for making a story that can melt your heart. The man I wish to love, just like any fan-girls who Stan their favorite character. Who wouldn't want to dream such a thing to be realistic?

Likewise, the main female character was so kind, gentle, and loving to everyone, but was' hated by the Man's Finance who was swayed by jealousy. Who wouldn't be jealous anyway?

The story was so long by having a lot of character perspectives. The adopted game even stated having three perspective routes specifically; The Main Character, Villainess, Mob.

I already tried the game as a beta tester, but it will hit different once the complete version is released. Being the main character is like having a handicapped, while As the Villainess - you'll start from scratch. The mob was a complete mystery since her part - will be a complete mystery since her story-line for the novel based-game, will be released in the official game.

After hearing the game notification, I hurriedly tapped my phone despite staying up late at 3 am. Call me an addict, the first 100 users that will download the official release of the game will never pay The Mob route.

Being broke as hell is an uneasy living, working part-time as a high school student, slash rent slash living by myself, I can't afford to pay what is not part of my daily necessity even if it's for my favorite things, I simply cannot.

"If your broke - make it free, take the chance, or your out." And that is my life's motto.

Hurriedly as I updated the game right after it was released and updated,  I launched the game to check if I was part of the first claimer reward that will be given to the first hundred users downloading this Hit novel based Otome****game.

Just as I was to check the game, I realized that it wasn't downloading all the time. The signal suddenly was unable to upload data, which made me stuck to update the game.

Felt being broken into shambles, covering myself with a blanket. I put my phone beside me with a tired dead face. With an unhappy dismayed visage and glooming feeling, I never felt so defeated for a broke person just wanting to get a promo in a game.

"I wasted my time... You have one job Telecom - Why did you duck up now?"

"Whatever, I'm too tired to angered myself. "

As the signal came back, I browsed on the internet - until I fall asleep. Seeing people posting about the free promo since it cost for a house

Seeing a random website offering pirated mods for paid games, I tapped out of curiosity while reading its name. If I remember, there was no pirate site named after this.. Was it new? I muttered the website name while waiting to get redirected.

"Bethegame.org"

I checked up the website seeing my favorite novel based-game, was also modded. I was shocked, but my dread eyes can't be thrilled. Since it's currently 3:20 am. Falling asleep in class will make me stand outside the classroom with a book on my head again.

I smiled and sighed, although convinced it was fake, as a lot of modded websites can have redirected with malicious files neither taking the bait was a good idea. I can't let my phone to crack up. Staying up late was all for nothing.

"If I can sue our Telcom for being the worst on the planet, ugh.."

Tapping the game and seeing zero downloads and no review.

"Who would  be too foolish to download it anyway?"

Yawned, letting myself for a sweet slumber, for another busy day.

Not knowing I'd accidentally tapped download on a mysterious website. A new life that will begin right off the bat as I wake up in a new world, new era, and the new me.
