Chapter 3

She didn't know what to feel- despair, pity, guilt and too much pain starts to eat her whole system. She was just a delicate 15-yr old kid, wanting to feel the warmth and love of a complete family but why is she suffering too much? She couldn't look in the eyes of the child, she wanted to help her but when she reached out her tiny hand, she stopped - it was tainted with too much blood. "Someone, help her. Someone, save me" She was too weak to move that she whispered those words hoping someone could hear her plea.

In the midst a forest in the night, the soul of the devil that escaped or rather, forced out of its vessel, was roaming there, wondering to find a suitable candidate like the one she possessed before. She was stalking pass the trees looking for her next prey, and not just anyone, the one with the legendary corpse veins.

She wonders if she could find another vessel and accumulates more dark energy before she returns to Ellie's body- the most perfect vessel for her to reborn. She couldn't give up with her yet that's why finding another prey is her priority this time. she was in desperate need of a body. she can't live much longer without a vessel. She will then take up other souls and increase her power to get inside Ellie's body again.

"After so many years, I have returned to the human world. The era has changed but the fear and despair hasn't. One must know the very definition of fear, and for that, I shall be the one, most feared once again. "

Meanwhile, a boy not much older than 11, was abandoned in a forest not knowing what may befall upon him. The devil akuma was to prey upon him.

"This boy is to pure, I can only get a little energy from him but anyway I'll take him. Human are just livestock. Soon, Akuma will reign again" she laughed madly. The boy unaware of the danger ahead was searching for a ray of light to escape from the pitch black forest. He could see a faint light coming from deep inside the darkness. He mustered courage and went towards it. Slowly he could see the light becoming stronger. He couldn't hold himself anymore and ran towards it. He hit something big and dense and fainted. The next day some villagers found his body and took him to the nearby hospital. As he opened his eyes, everyone in the room were horrified to see his eyes. there was no pupil. it was completely dark.

"Breaking news, a large portion of a village near the forest, has been completely disappeared. No one knows the real reason behind this happening. Many believe that it is a political affair and the blasted that area with bombs. Some thinks it's the work of the terrorists. Further report suggests that the nearby area was affected that as well, the forests was also affected"....

.What's this. Ellie who was lying on the bed looking at the news thinking. She doesn't remember anything after she lost her consciousness.

She tried hard to think but she couldn’t think of anything, even when she searched the memories of akuma. “Is she still around? Has she gone after someone else?”
